I'm pretty hopeful for Elder Scrolls Online and Ultima: Shroud of the Avatar.. Since WoW, i've played Aion, Ruins of Magic (f2p), GW2, Tera and several others. So far, Neverwinter is the only one that's given me that giddy feeling since WoW vanilla. It's amusing to me all the negativity over P2W (which is laughable at…
Pay to win has always meant, you can ONLY win by paying. End of Story. NW is NOT P2W. I can achieve anything people that pay to do.. anything that requires AD or Zen can be bought without RL cash.
I hope the merge comes sooner rather than later. I have a guild I want to join, but it's on another shard. I can mail my stuff (profession mats, zen keys, etc.) from character to another one of my characters.. but not across shards. And since I have an armored bear mount, I'm not tossing all that AD/Zen to reroll. I did…
Some people have these things called jobs and some even have extra disposable income. If they are not going to missed the $200, who are you to say they are being silly? Not everyone lives where the economy sucks and have to worry about ever nickel and dime.
I'll still be here playing, unless A) Elder Scrolls Online is out, or B) They shut down the servers. All I can see is that all the whiners will rage quit, and then I can finally turn zone chat back on. Your complaints don't affect my gameplay, other than filling the forums with whining and snivilling.
I can't remember which game it was.. may have been Runes of Magic, but one game had a loot system where if you couldn't use the item it didn't even show up in need/greed.
I never paid for an advantage.. I bought founders to support the company and the unique mount. I've rerolled so many times until I found the class I wanted to play.. he's currently lvl 21, so advantage, I don't think so. Regardless, cheaters who exploited levels don't affect me one bit, nor my enjoyment of the game. QQ…
Because very few games portray D&D druids properly in games (even so called D&D based ones).. Wildshape is a staple druid talent as much as a mage's magic missles. It's usually because devs are too lazy to figure out how to do anything more than boring game mechanics that every other dev does.
I only have one comment. If the game is in beta, then they shouldn't be taking money yet, period. Founders paid for the opportunity to play in beta, but that doesn't mean they or non-founders should be asked to spend money until it's out of beta. Give people a stippend to spend on the store, and once beta is complete use…
There's no problem in it's current form.. I _need_ the gold from selling your gear. As with pretty much any MMO, if you don't like the way gear is doled out in pugs, find guildies to go with. Problem solved.
My enjoyment of the game isn't determined by someone else's method of levelling. I'm taking my time, enjoying the content and do the occasional dungeon or foundry quest. Why are you letting it bother you so OP?
Funny, my panther can use rings and amulets. I guess it depends on the companion i suppose. Plus she likes to swat around anything shiney. My kitty's enjoyment > your need.
It doesn't help that your beginning talents you spec into tell you how you get bonuses when you stealth, but don't actually tell you how to stealth or how to get it. When I first started playing a trickster rogue, I had the same question.. the difference was I googled it instead of looking like an idiot in zone chat.
People don't generally come to the forums to find out if the game is going to be up or not. The MOTD notes on the launcher said nothing about it until maintenance started. That's where it should have been posted.
Spent $200 on founders and have no intention to spend anything more at this point. I thought the whole idea was that all the AD you get was supposed to last you a long time. I haven't spent a single AD yet.
