I think in this game at higher levels you are meant to use a lot of potions.
Also GWF are melee and have relatively low DPS until their entire skill set kicks in (so I have heard - on my level 45 GWF things have improved, but is still lackluster) so you will probably be using more potions than some other classes.

I use about 400 potions a day through doing dungeons as a cleric (tank), I do around 10-20 dungeons. Usually its 5-20 potions a dungeon but when breaking new content it can some times go up to 100 in a dungeon until it is nailed down... get through potions like the vendors going to stop selling them tomorrow!
Just to add my friends go through 1-3 potions on a tier 2 or 5-10 on new ones we are breaking in... they aren't clerics.
The few dungeons i've run I feel like i'm the only one who has to chug constantly due to adds. I watch the bars and I can keep the party topped off but with the 40% reduction in heals to self I have to chug constantly. Even the "oh ****" greater heal stone once in awhile.
Everyone is chillin and the healer is chuggin Get rid of that 40% reduction bull****
I'm burning through them like they're going out of style on my 44 GWF.
Just wondering if this is a L2P issue or a L2C (lrn to class) issue
My TR and GF drink a lot of potions also. Sometimes as many in dungeons with parties as solo, although I imagine that will change as people become more used to playing their DC's and I become better at playing my characters.
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.
Are you running with the cleric companion? I didn't use any soloing on my wizard until I decided to start levelling the cat at 58, then it was every single fight.

Yep, until she draws aggro and gets killed. Up until that point she is fantastic!

eh it's not like death of a companion even matters - on my wizard at least it was still plenty of time to mop up everything without taking additional damage, and it's an instant rez as soon as combat ends for the companion.
Still, would be interested to see what she's like with 30 ranks instead of 15.

consider the game a little more like Diablo and a little less like WoW. the potion spam makes more sense then
get a cleric pet it does wonders while questing at a lower level

Honestly, I rarely use potions even when soloing. If I find I am dipping in health I pull out my trusty pocket healer and I am good.
