This may be true but you have to be honest about the value of the "and the refinement" part. Using the old system, you could have just combined the enchants\stones using 4 of the same type to make the next level, with no epic marks. Since you can only get it at level 60 and only have a 1% chance to get it as a drop, and it is BoP, it should be a purple base-item and be salvageable so you can do something constructive once you get extras. But don't get me started on arcane coffer reward qualities. it pretty much sucks all around.

Setting a global quantity similar to zen would fix the issue. I've only ever opened lockboxes on my main as I don't want to feel trapped into buying keys to fix a mistake, but that is likely the hidden goal of BoP.

In my opinion, the three daily dungeons are too easy. Just fill up a party and you are done in five minutes, and then you can move on to something else. Same with Sharandar.
