Good for them. Personally it was the last straw that made me leave the game, and I doubt I was the only one. Still - it's their toybox and they can do as they please.

I've been playing MMOs since before they were thing, and your knowledge is flawed. NWO has a great underlying concept and combat mechanic but pretty much everything after Mod 3 has been deeply flawed and badly implemented.

Some of that may be self-imposed TBH. If I'm going to join a guild I want to contribute to it and if I don't feel I have the time to do that I'd rather not join than be an invisible member. Plus Strongholds is likely to change attitudes to member activity.

Very welcome changes, but too late for many I fear. Possibly including myself. I've found new games to play after NWO drove me away and I'll have less time to devote to it now. Shame. Had these changes been made 3-4 weeks ago I'd still be an active (and paying) player.

Currently spending my entertainment dollars elsewhere as I feel the direction the game has gone in is not one I want to support. Plus there is absolutely nothing for me in Mod 7 so I won't be logging in again for a while.

I voted No, for broadly similar reasons to Magenubbie. And also the fact that I will probably be sitting out Mod 7 and waiting to see if Mod 8 addresses any of the diabolical design decisions implemented recently. Specifically but not confined to the ridiculous XP nerf.

Not gonna happen. The VIP program is just the latest attempt to wring some cash out of a declining and disillusioned player pool so why would they give it away for free?

*Raises hand* I levelled an alt through Spinward during the last 2 x XP event and STILL didn't hit 70 by the time I finished and got my mainhand. That's broken whichever way you look at it.

No. No they don't, and no it isn't. I have played (and am still playing) FTP MMOs where gear updates are much more widely spaced out and FAR better implemented.

Exactly. Mod 6 was an unmitigated disaster, as had been just about every patch since. Xbone players have the good fortune to not have encountered this yet.
