Go into video options, under advanced settings turn off post processing. No more of that graphical noise when you use lurkers. But be careful, until you're used to it you might find yourself using lurkers and not realizing it. This setting change is a significant improvement and worth turning off in my opinion .

Shortcuts are not considered "exploiting" As long as you're not dying and just using shortcuts to skip mobs ~ it's not exploiting ~ confirmed by a developer watching another popular Neverwinter stream.

I haven't said there shouldn't be a punishment. You are going back to the gold seller argument. We're talking about players banning other players. Leave gold sellers out of it for a minute, that's a bigger issue entirely. Why should players have the authority to ban other players from chatting in all forms?

20 people out of 20,000. That sounds like the majority. Again, let the report spam ban from zone chat for 24 hours.... All chat is way to excessive. You can't really play for 24 hours after a ban like that. Might as well blindly ban accounts for 24 hours.

If they are spamming zone, and get banned from zone for 24 hours, the spamming stops. I fail to see how you need to ban them from every form of chat possible. This is an MMO, every single MMO's main city's zone chat is filled with spam. Most use real solutions like rate limiters. Actually if you took time to read this thread you will see the majority agrees that the system is flawed and should be reworked in some way. There are a very vocal minority that really like their shiny sheriff badges though.

Actually, it covers all the chat prior to his ban which means he was banned for that one message. If you follow the pictures from left to right they go until he logged into the zone. The time stamps are there, sorry you're upset your broken system doesn't actually work as intended.
