  • That shouldn't be the case, though. The devs being ok with whole groups of companions having a detrimental effect on the activity is ridiculous in my opinion. Especially since you have no control over what your companion actually does. I know that certain companions are definitely better than others in many different…
  • They're immune to the control/rooting portion of the attack, not the damage. In fact, most end game enemies are immune or extremely resistant to control effects.
  • Sounds like it could be a driver issue then. If you're familiar with it, you could try uninstalling (completely, using Display Driver Uninstaller) and reinstalling or rolling back to a previous driver and see if that does anything. Also, some laptops may have performance/power settings that dictate which vid adapter to…
  • Since it's asking for a gpu with DX10 or higher, and your gtx 1050 most certainly exceeds that, it leads me to believe it's not detecting the Nvidia gpu and is on whatever the default video adapter may be (likely and Intel HD of some sort). I'm not totally familiar with Nvidia's control panel, but I think there's a way to…
  • That's not really how they work. It's not a 'proc'; I.E. Programmed Random OCcurance. Just like the Legendary Bonus, it's a permanent buff. Augments don't 'use' powers; if they did, they could proc bondings. That being said, I noticed the timer quite some time ago when I was still using augments and it always instantly…
  • I've seen other problems with changing UI scaling. My wife adjusted it on her laptop and it started aligning the campaign task boxes wrongly next to the completion meter on the Dread Ring campaign screen. It appeared that the meter was up to the proper point to start a task, but it actually wasn't.
  • Flamehexes in River District and Master Spellplague (not sure if they're in other areas) don't show the red area for their death explosion anymore. Been this way since Shroud of Souls.
  • I noticed there's no mention of a fix for missing 'red' areas for certain attacks, like the falling rocks in Lair of Lostmauth, for example. Could you guys do a pass on the red indicators and fix them? For several months now, many ground attack indicators have been pretty horrible at doing what they're supposed to do:…
  • LOL, unfortunately, this is almost certainly what will happen.
  • While I can see how that would be a good thing for us as players (it would essentially make the mob dazed), I'm not sure I'm prepared to make that trade-off. The "Abolethic Dance" just needs to go; I really find it that stupid and distracting. Who out of the devs actually said, "hey, look at this; the players will LOVE…
  • By how much did it drop? You only listed your original IL. Also, is there no change in IL if you dismiss and resummon the stone?
  • it's been listed in the events banner; it's turned on
  • I would really like to see the "dancing" caused by the Aboleth weapons to be done away with. Not only does it look completely ridiculous, but it can make tanking and avoiding attacks based on animations and wind-ups incredibly frustrating.
  • On your launcher, at the top of the window is a link for Options. Go there and select your approx. area (only choices are None, US, UK) for the patching and gameplay proxies. This fixed my freeze/crash on loading 100%. I even tested it again recently and turned my proxies off. The issue came right back, then after…
  • Were you personally in the group with the 6k? There's a bug that affects the shown item level as lower than it actually is; I think it's either guild boons or companion not being added in (I've heard both; either one explains that). They could have also had their companion die. Either way, coming out and just calling…
  • As was pointed out a few posts above, it's a behind-the-scenes stat; you don't need to "do" anything to use deflection. It is also a viable defensive option for ANY class. It can keep you from being one-shotted, FYI.
  • They changed the queue requirements. It went up if queuing public and down if it's been made private. It was in patch notes. FYI, this is for all queues.
  • I turned the physics debris setting down and, while it didn't do anything for the overall brightness, it helped with performance a bit; thanks!
  • Last night I had a pretty bad experience on the Dragon Turtle. My companion disappeared and died, needing to be resummoned. After resummoning, it died instantly. It didn't jump to its death; it simply vanished. This happened every time I attempted to bring him back. I was using the Black Death Scorpion initially and then…
  • No, it's not quite the same as the gfx issues that occur from texture streaming and loading in. It's almost like the Bloom effect got turned WAY up. Like the brightness and saturation on spell/power/combat effects went up almost. I put Bloom Quality to Off (only option is on or off) and it seemed to help a bit. I also…
  • None of the settings does much of anything to help. I'm honestly incredibly surprised I haven't seen more complaints about this. It is absolutely ridiculous. And it's made even worse in the Spellplague dungeon somehow. I don't know what sort of filter or effect or what they have going on in there, but it's literally…
  • For the zoning crash - if you're referring to the game just hard freezing on load to new zone, try selecting your approx. location for the proxy servers in the launcher. There's a dropdown menu for patching server and gameplay server proxy; your choices should be US, EU, or None. I'm in US and chose that one for both and…
  • I echo these sentiments 100%! Especially the bit about mSP. Absolutely demoralizing.
  • I had been getting that for a while, but ended up fixing it by choosing my location's proxy servers in the launcher.
  • First of all, I really don't particularly care. Secondly, caps are for EMPHASIS. Third, I never called ANYONE a name; I called the "idea" stupid.
  • No, that is incorrect. All the blue circles tell you is the quest step you are on, "Investigate a Crypt site." It plasters over all of them because, technically, any of them COULD be crypt sites. Using the Legend is fine though. You can still hover the cursor over the "shield" for each digsite and get its name, then look…
  • Thank you very much for that tip; I know the maps fairly well and don't tend to look at the legend.
  • Why do people THINK that? That is NOT correct. I AM doing Shroud. The blue circles TELL YOU WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. They DO NOT turn sites into Crypts. Period. I went into 2 separate ones; first a sewer, then a dungeon. If you managed to get into a crypt without knowing it was one beforehand, you got LUCKY. And if it…
  • There's currently a bug with the Flamehexes out in River District (includes Kabal's domain). When they die, they disappear entirely with no red mark on the ground and immediately explode with no warning or wind up at all. After that has happened, the game THEN plays the entire audio of the death, including the wind up and…
  • Auction House crashes the game to desktop when attempting to select a specific stat type for equipment searches. As soon as I click on the drop down menu, it happens. Others in alliance have experienced this as well.
