River District Hauntings quest

Who's stupid idea was it to put BLUE circles over every digsite icon on the map so that we cannot tell what they are? Do you guys even know the way your game works? That crypt map given to me only works on UNLOCKED digsites. So, what if they're all unlocked? Am I supposed to just go into random ones and hope I get the proper one? Should I just keep waiting 2 min. to switch instance and HOPE that there's an unlocked digsite? Absolutely ridiculous some of the decisions being made that if just LOOKED at would show why they don't work. Use your brains (and eyes for that matter) in the future.

Blue circles around the digsites means you're doing Shroud. They are all crypts for that.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

If you can remember the guard post names, the map legend tells what dig is what. It is possible that Google might help with that otherwise. Still, this is basically the same issue caused by taking 'Secure the District,' only worse as the blue circle is actively hindering the quest it is supposed to be helping.

Really? If so, that's interesting but the map you're given is fairly useless inventory clutter. I don't think it would be too much to ask of a player to buy a map for the quest if they actively need one.

Why do people THINK that? That is NOT correct. I AM doing Shroud. The blue circles TELL YOU WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. They DO NOT turn sites into Crypts. Period. I went into 2 separate ones; first a sewer, then a dungeon. If you managed to get into a crypt without knowing it was one beforehand, you got LUCKY. And if it changed them all, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU HAVE TO GET A CRYPT MAP FROM THE GUY?!

So while Shroud is active, ALL sites become crypts? Due to time constraints, I've only done it once. That time, I found a crypt using the map legend. Didn't notice if all were shown as crypts.

Thank you very much for that tip; I know the maps fairly well and don't tend to look at the legend.

I've also only done it once as well, but habitually look at the map to see what the dig sites are opened as when I enter the zone, so I just beelined for a crypt afterwards and didn't look at the map again.

Sounds like the thought that they are all temporarily crypts is an error. But I don't see the point of sticking map circles around each dig site for this quest. You have to have done several weeks of River District prior to unlocking it. If you then suddenly do not know what or where the dig sites are when you receive a quest involving going to a specific type of dig site, that would be quite worrisome. Map circles are useful when you do not otherwise have a way of knowing where to find something. Here, I think it's safe to assume a small level of competency.

No, that is incorrect. All the blue circles tell you is the quest step you are on, "Investigate a Crypt site." It plasters over all of them because, technically, any of them COULD be crypt sites. Using the Legend is fine though. You can still hover the cursor over the "shield" for each digsite and get its name, then look at what each currently are in that list. And seriously, thanks for pointing that out. Never occurred to me to scroll down that long list as everything SHOULD have been clearly marked on the map. So much for common sense for Cryptic.

Is this really worth all those CAPS? It's not game breaking, and calling the company names *probably* won't get them to conform to your standards anytime soon.

First of all, I really don't particularly care. Secondly, caps are for EMPHASIS. Third, I never called ANYONE a name; I called the "idea" stupid.
