I can tell you now. Action is furious - especially with me PvPing as a DC. If I had to cover any more skills, I might break my pinky or get a score wrist. It's already at a point I have to rest my hands after a few battles. I have to use my spells from memory and at the right time. I can do this about 80% of the time. I'd…
What I've seen from the 30-39 PvP is this: Due to my inability to break cc as a DC, I look like popcorn popping in slow motion if the other team has 2 CW's. To survive longer and give out heals, would regeneration or defense gear aid me the most?
So 24k hits are what I have to look forward to? Even with all the energy of this thread, I'm still going to level my DC to 60. I really enjoy playing dps/support in games. Until this game creates another class that can do both, DC is it for me. At least I know this from this thread: in a Pug, just dps and rez often; in a…
I wasn't around to see all of the class changes that have happened to DC - though I did play the game in OB. PvP has always been fun to me and I'll always do it if a game offers it.
Are you talking about going against Pugs or premades? All of my experience in PvP so far has been agains Pugs and I'm on a Pug team, except one time. I face a premade in level 20-29 PvP and it was ugly for me. The enemy team had two CW's on me. After one was through with me, the second one would finish me off with their CC…
It would be nice if Neverwinter did something similar to what Warhammer did. They started awarding points for healing in scenarios. If my heals keep someone alive so that they can kill or cap, I should be rewarded for that as a healer.
My next question is this: How often would I end up in a premade? Do PvP oriented guilds exist in the game? I'm totally fine being the lowest score on PvP chart - I just want to have enough healing to make a difference to my team winning. I agree with everyone who talked about Pugs. I can't heal a Pug if I tried - those…
One of the biggest changes that I've noticed between 10-19 and 20-29 PvP Deathmatches, is that I'm no longer the primary target. This is why I feared that the effect of healing on match results wasn't being effected by healing. By the level 20-29 matches, no one ever asked me for a heal. It's like it's every man for…
Man, I was hoping to hear something different. Dungeons are usually the only thing in games now where people even have to group. That doesn't mean you care about the other 4 especially if any 4 will do. I just want a game where I have to struggle and fight with others for every inch of success. That is what has built…
Here is an update. I created a GWF after this thread and leveled it to level 5. It is a bit rough to stay alive without pots. One thing I love about the class is nothing will be easy for me. Positioning, timing of skills and use of dodge feel way more important to me on GWF than my cleric.
Tell us how your really feel...haha. Now, if their dps is lower, their survivability is lower and their cc is lower, can they solo w/o using a healing pot once cool down is over?
