Wanna chime in. I have to say first that I'm not a big fan of MMO in general but have tried several MMORPGs over the years. NWO I liked the most of all, maybe because it's connected to D&D which I like a lot and reminds me sometimes of Neverwinter Nights which is one of my favorite RPGs of all times. Have been thinking on…
Thanks. Reddit is a bit hectic, on forums I usually always got more reliable answers. I asked my guild and alliances too, no one could give definitive answer, but it's pretty important for me to know since loadouts are coming. It would be really surprising if mechanic only bound to few WC removing skills...
Any sensible reason for not having this option? When I have played my alt, I outlevelled a lot of content because was running with the guild doing some stuff which nets more levels. I would really like to see quests instead of running around the locations and checking every NPC...
Yes, correct, NPNM turns dot into burst dmg. If they make it do more dmg below certain hp %, that would be somewhat similar to Killing Flames purpose and still not gonna cut it, because you: 1. You use entire slot for class feature, so that should give some serious benefits to consider it. 2. Stacking dot will still be far…
I would be very happy for stacking HR dot instead of refresh, but NPNM will become completely useless in that case, so this will need some serious rework too. Than again, every SW HB I know is running with HR, but SW has other at-wills too which are far inferior to HR in most situations. That needs looking into as well IMO.
Not very long, I usually do couple of quick dungeons than skirmish. Today I did a test, before going anywhere I went to Throne and effects stayed, so you've been right about this. Still, it is an issue and would be great not having it, or at least have means to disable/avoid it without restarting client. Also found two…
It seems like NPNM is quite situational thing, and I'm starting to reconsidering it in favor of Shadow Walk, which is quite situational too but seems more helpful to stay alive. But can somebody clearly explain, why Prince of Hell basically never suggested? Flat armor ignored and lifesteal bonus is bad? Shadow Walk is…
Well, as I said, it feels pretty random or inconsistent, because it never happened for me in massive dragonflight events, though there were tons on players and effects flying around, but it 100% always happens in some skirmishes, which only has 5 players and bunch mobs spawning, like in Throne of Dwarven Gods. It also…
My idea was that SB considered more tanky, so when you go support, you're ok with sacrificing DPS in favor of more survivability and healing. But thanks for your input, there are several very interesting things I can try.
What I'm saying is mostly everyone will have required builds in additional slots and will switch to them for specific content. Not saying there aren't any clone builds running around but that might push it over the top IMO.
Few questions: - Is Apocalypse Dagger worth slotting as main arti if I don't have any decent ones yet? - I don't really understand how damage works on this one, it can fire off without causing damage all? Anywhere I can look up chance %? - Also, what about companion influence? Does it really work? Seen some reports that…
Since loadouts are coming, I'm thinking on making SB support Templock in second slot. I have very little idea about how it works in general, but curious: is it possible to build SB Templock as decent support/healer for the party which can take place of DC or Healadin at some degree?
I'm not experienced enough but very curious about these tests. Generally we manage to pop around 3-5 At-Wills before enc CD ends, and that with buffs like Pally's aura of Wisdom and etc. Usually we can blast more HRs. So, we get say 30+30+30% vs. 15+15+15+85% so numbers on DoT HR should look better, and that also frees up…
Question: Does Parting Blasphemy feat trigger on Lesser Curse and Warlock's Bargain? Tooltip says it fires up when curse is removed. Lesser Curse vanish after some time and WB effect has duration too, so technically those are both curses and they get removed automatically, so how does it work exactly?
It happens during skirmshes and generally major brawls all the time. Because of this I can't see and judge what powers have been used (for SW no WC icon on enemy, no PoP flashing on the ground), also red threat circle becomes very thin, so it's hard to notice it and can easily make you eat up lots of damage. Would be great…
That's the response I was very afraid of... Do devs actually have any comment on this? Because even for my SW, human feels vastly superior than any other race, that's so frustrating...
Using up second build ability just for powers feels like brutal waste, I'd rather have second effective builds in this case in that slot. Plus it's still not convenient because campfire. You mostly need to swap powers during actual fights, and I have to do this all the time, got a little tired of it tbh...
There's level cap extension coming? Good to know, thanks, maybe it will revise some mechanics. It's quite obvious from my post that I started this game quite recently. No need to be so elitist about it, please. It's just a video game, and I honestly didn't know that you have to possess academic knowledge of the game, have…
I don't really see any usefulness in that. Currently every other player can make the build for their character that can carry them throughout entire content. It even diminishes uniqueness of our builds. Thing that would be MUCH more useful for me at least is only powers swap, like having from 2 to maybe 5 different presets…
That's not what I meant. Swapping tab for encounter doesn't really increase rotation. HRs mechanics is close to what I was asking for, but still not it, again, taking out mechanic to replace it with something. It just feels wrong that character on regular basis has around 12 encounters available and usable are only 3…
Ran it 41 times today. My sanity is in tatters. Out of 41 runs, I was able to interact with Beholder only 23 times. 7 times in a row I couldn't interact with it at all, after that I just quit. Chance of drop is like 0,000001%, on top of that about 50% of runs go dry (in my experience). Getting Beholder would be very nice…
That's actually a bit of a dilemma right here. Since pally has pretty huge hp pool by default and basically you try increase it by any means since it's both your survivability and damage buff across the board, so having 2.5% from Steadfast feels way more appealing than 1% from Force of Will, for non-human that's a big…
Can't vote because unsure. From one side I had to get into guild because of these boons, but I'm not very social player and don't really enjoy being in some groups, even the nicest ones. You suggest giving these boons from campaign, fine, but how's that gonna work if I get into guild after campaign and activate boons?…
