Sent a support ticket last night to ..basically everything i had listed before the update does not appear in searches so cant be bought ...and as there time limit expires they are just sitting there and not returning through the mail !

No you don't have to be ...the guild boons and items whilst beneficial aren't going to be essential unless your in th emin/max crowd really. I don't think there's a way to block invites though. What i will say is there's no getting away from drama in mmos ..especially at launch when your ramming a bunch of people together…
