I'd like to see Ray of Frost last a bit longer when a mob freezes, NPCs seem to break after like 1 second which doesn't give you time to do anything useful. Maybe up the freeze time to 3 or 4 seconds to make the control utility of the spell actually useful.
Although I feel there is definitely work to be done (which was expected), I was extremely surprised on how smooth and stable the game client ran for me and how fun the combat was overall. All in all, a solid positive experience from my perspective and my enthusiasm is high for release and development post launch.
That might make sense but with that same logic people are less likely to spend money on most items from lvl 1-59 since they will outlevel those items within a day or two.
I enjoy that they have a variety for different purposes but I have couple personal opinions on what I'd like to see improved upon 1. I couple basic options for controlling companions like stay, guard, follow, that way they can be a little more controllable in dungeons instead of accidentally pulling mobs. 2. When I was…
Calm down a little. It's obviously a technical issue that's not intentional. If you had beta weekend access then they should have had beta forum access as well. If you fall into that category just open up a ticket as Zebular mentions.
They may be two different games but don't kid yourself. Player bases for MMORPGs overlap and so will be the same for TESO and NWO. Some people will try both games and play which one they feel is more fun. I know I'll be trying both and I'm hoping both are fun to play.
I'd like to see some deadlier traps, perhaps even the odd lethal trap for someone unlucky enough to trigger them accidentally. Right now they seem more of a nuisance then dangerous in dungeons. Perhaps put some traps that in situations that you must disarm in order to advance further in a dungeon without dying.
@zag LOL.... good question... Aliah must have another account then because with a Jon Date of Dec 2012, how could they have been one of the first to sign up for beta?
My question would be. What is your plan, post launch for supporting NWO? i.e. If you could provide percentages for them, what areas will your team focus on post launch? New content? new classes? bugs? etc.
I'm probably not adding any value to answering the OP question but I'm just gonna play the race that I like the look of the best when I go through the character creation. Until we play some beta and try different builds, it'll be hard to know how much the racial traits will effect gameplay until numbers are crunched for…
Freedom to choose is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Personally, I will make my choice based on whether or not I enjoy my play experience and not a preconceived notion of what D&D should be from my passed experiences.
Even if there isn't a huge following at the start, the reality is if the game is good and fun to play, word always spreads quickly and the community will grow. And the opposite is true, if the game isn't fun, people leave for greener pastures. The branding of your game mainly serves to hook people in to try the game, from…
Works for me.. A bunch of WoW content is based on parody and I always got a good laugh out of it. If the humour isn't over the top and forced I am sure most people will enjoy it.
I shamefully bought Hero pack but am of the opinion that it seems pretty steep at first glance. I would like to see a true official break down of each item in the packs and their actual worth if you had to buy them from the store. That includes the 750,000 astral diamonds. My decision to buy was based on a few things. I…
I expect that to be the case as well. It doesn't make sense that we'd be expected to DL it on Feb 8th especially if there is a chance that there could be issues that could pertain to volume with everyone trying to DL the game etc. My guess would be that the DL link will be available by Mon/Tues by the latest.
getting a character to level 15 is a small effort to unlock the ability to use the foundry. And you only have to do it once so in my opinion it's not a big deal and the benefits of stopping people from just randomly creating infinite free accounts just to use the foundry far outweighs the minor effort of playing the game…
They track it by account, so when you buy it while logged in to your PWE account it gets flagged to that account. At least that how it worked when I purchased a founders pack
Regarding the video, at level 55 I don't think 800-3000 dmg numbers is too high. As for the art, I like it but to each their own of course and as most games like this, there should be UI options to manage the visuals of them for each player.
