I ask this, because twice I have waited and watched to make a final winning bid on an item. Down to the last second, which you can do on the Gateway, and still got outbidded. There is no way someone is going to be notified of being outbidded and still have a chance to open the window and place a bid, in under 1 second…

That should be just about the time Hades freezes over. Unless your lining their pockets with your real money, chances of hearing back from them is slim to none. They don't care if you've lost your precious diamonds. That's just more back in the virtual kitty for them. Just so you know, yes, it's happened to me too.
