Out-bidding yourself on AH gives no refund of previous bid

I bid 10500AD on an item on the AH less than a minute before it ended. The time finished with me as the highest bidder but then continued to reduce down into negative time (a problem I have encountered before but there are other threads reporting this problem.) I clicked place a bid again and the AH allowed me to bid 11000AD and outbid myself, however the 10500AD from my first bid was not returned in the mail as normal. I was then outbid on the item by another player and my second bid of 11000AD was returned to me but I still didn't receive the original. I.e. I have paid 10500AD and did not win the item. (and I'm assuming if I had won it would of cost me both of my bids (21500AD))

To make sure this wasn't an issue caused by the negative time left on the item I bid on a cheaper item (23AD) then immediately bid again (24AD) and the same issue occured. I was then outbid and again, the same thing as before occurred in that I received a 24AD refund but not the original 23AD.

Please note, I'm not posting this asking for a refund, just to report the bug. I used the AD values to explain the issue more thoroughly.

    Good to know I'm not the only one, I read your thread, just as extra clarification this happened to me in game not on the gateway. I have opened a ticket in game too but not had a reply. Normally I'd close a thread repeating the same problem but I'll leave this opened till one of us gets a reply from perfect world.

    That should be just about the time Hades freezes over. Unless your lining their pockets with your real money, chances of hearing back from them is slim to none. They don't care if you've lost your precious diamonds. That's just more back in the virtual kitty for them. Just so you know, yes, it's happened to me too.

    I ask this, because twice I have waited and watched to make a final winning bid on an item. Down to the last second, which you can do on the Gateway, and still got outbidded. There is no way someone is going to be notified of being outbidded and still have a chance to open the window and place a bid, in under 1 second without having some kind of assistance. I know on Ebay you can set a top bid, but I don't see that option on the Gateway, but it appears to be happening, unless the other bidders get extra time on their bid clocks. Any feedback on this issue would be much appreciated. I have searched the web over for any form of add on that would allow this to happen. Something the devs might want to check into, if they ever take the time to read their forums.
