Simply clicking the "Use Sliders" option did not initially fix the lighting issue for the character creation screens. However, once I had selected the Sliders, and then clicked on either Dynamic Lighting radio button, and clicked Apply, the lighting changed and the character creation screens were not shrouded in shadow.
"I'm not going to complain about a free game, as I said. Especially one like this that has a fleet of boats loaded with content." You will... we all do :-)
Opening the Recon lock box on my warlock has the problem, no problem on my wizard. I never have more than one key to see if it is only the first time :-)
An Update... Probably not tied to Windows 11 as I originally thought. Seems to be tied to something about a character. I usually open all lock boxes on the same toon, but used a different one earlier this week and the lock box awards displayed correctly. I have since tried 2 other characters and gone back to original one…
I just ran this on my barbarian. I simply sprinted away from the enemy to dodge. One thing, make sure you do NOT have a companion summoned. It looks like if a companion takes damage it counts against you. Hope this helps. PS: Used Blademaster loadout, not Sentinel, if that helps you.
Currently, Character HP and Damage are adjusted in each of the levelling zones based upon the target IL of the zone, just as they are adjusted on live for dungeons. The was an issue in the past, and the decision made to NOT do this for the zones. But it is clearly the case now on preview. My 55K Warlock HP and Damage…
BUG: The training room quest cannot be completed by a warlock. The shadowslip capability makes the user IMMUNE to damage and does not register as a DODGE. So the first task to demonstrate defensive skills cannot be completed.
Bug: All of the artisans have had their proficiency and focus set to what they would have been at the old level 20, not level 80. So advanced recipes are impossible. But you already knew that... so why did you put it out to test so badly broken?
I have been hit by the same bug. Put three spare staffs of flowers in a character's inventory to make room in the shared bank to shuffle enchants, etc. for the combat changes. Went to put them back and they were changed from bind on equip to bound to character. I've submitted a bug report. Not holding my breath.
As each piece drops as loot and is picked up it becomes available in the store account-wide. So it looks like all 3 pieces dropped for you at some point and only 2 of the 3 for your brother.
This bug has existed forever (well, more than 3 years, at least). It shows up if you are in an instance with a heavy load and the server is slow to respond. Would be nice to get it fixed, but you get used to watching the timer numbers on your deity icon to see if the invoke worked. :-)
I get it that there are those who love PvP, and I am happy for them. Give them a version of Neverwinter that has PvP as a central part. But get it out of the PvE version of the game, where the vast majority of players either hate it or are utterly indifferent to it.
I tried to post this yesterday but it seems not to have worked... Why not tie the rod drop to facing and killing all of Bel's insurgency bosses if it has not already dropped by RNG. That way we would have a clear goal to shoot for.
Perhaps the devs could consider having the rod drop once a character has defeated each unique insurgency boss, at the latest. That would give us something to aim for.
Scaling is hopelessly broken. The devs have lost sight of a fundamental reason people play this game, it was fun. It is not fun to enter an area, get scaled, and get trashed by everything that moves. Especially when the content was fun to do just a week earlier. I have no issues with the mechanics changes to opposing…
In addition to the traditional 40% off an Enchanted Key, I have seen 33% for various Companion types, 25% off Mounts, 25% off Packs and the usual 15% off refinement items. I just started noticing them, I hadn't really been looking at the coupons since the Jubilee discounts were all as good or better than the coupons.
