My problem isnt PvP, I wouldnt even mind if enemies could inspect me. My problem is the fact that my appearance is ruined by this effect.

I disagree. Partly because this isnt a PvP only game, its an MMO with a main focus on PvE, but features PvP on the side. Thus it isnt nowhere near as competitive as other games (say, Dota, LoL, Starcraft 2, etc), and most matches are unbalanced due to a free for all system. I'd love to see the "Disable Visuals" option available for ALL items, not just shirt and pants. I've seen people walk in their underwear, and I'm sure they wouldnt do that if they at least had the option to keep pants on, or just armor on, etc. I for one want to disable visuals on my armor, to get rid of that horrible…

They're not gonna do this. They are not fools, they know how to make money, and this change would cost them money, it wouldnt benefit them at all. Lets just hope that prices will drop for certain companions (cat for 980k?? seriously wtf).

I hope they address this soon. Neverwinter is an amazing game, but so far its being held back by the many issues its got. But I've heard people say that the memory leak has been there since Champions Online (they share the same engine).

Thank you thank you thank you! Same thing happened to me and I was banging my head against the wall trying to solve it. Is it blocked by my firewall? Is the launcher corrupt? I couldnt figure it out, and the first post in this thread was not helpful at all. Worked like a charm :)

We need the devs to address this, it shouldnt be hard to add a button to enable/disable the effect.

I have the exact same problem. I think its because when someone places a bid, the item gets locked and you cant remove it.

Can I close the launcher while its at around 40% and resume the patching process some other time? Or will it start from 0% all over again?

Patching doesnt even start for me, it just shows the client version on the left side, like its trying to load the patcher. Nevermind...it started after a long time. Derp

If it is available to all characters in the same account, how do you transfer them to another character? I once tried to mail an account-bound item (exp booster), and I couldnt place it in the mail, giving me the same error message as character-bound items.

People do get paid to make video games, just not by the playerbase. They are usually paid by the publishing company, in this case its PWE.

What version of Windows do you have? Is it Win 7 32 bit or 64 bit? And what exactly happens when you're freezing up? Do you hear a repetitive sound from the game and the screen is frozen? Can you end the process with task manager or do you have to restart your whole pc?
