  • Maybe... if you are not prepared to leave the Profession/Artisan live on the Professions tab for the whole year, put the artisan in the store with either of the two main quest givers? (PE and Festival Ground). In a little Box with a couple of tomatoes or something? System checks your Professions assets and if you don't…
  • It wasn't on the Test Server Feedback or PC forums, so it's unlikely it even got read by anyone other than the few players who noticed it. If you want a Dev to respond to a console query, try using carrier pigeons, or a message in a bottle thrown from a desert island... they have about the same chance as posting ion the…
  • Out of interest, was there any sort of market research done on this? (I know... I know... ) I recall there were a couple of questions a few years ago about lockboxes during the ill fated CDP, but I'm not sure they took into account the current level of Insignia Powder and value of Trade Bars in general. But was anyone…
  • So, instead of filling up with RP, Vouchers, Tokens and Trade Bars... we'll be getting a pile of Green and Blue Companions and Mounts... with the potential for the occasional Tokens and Trade Bars. And if we promise to buy 250 keys we can have some rewards for free? OK... On a current Lockbox I can open 100 and be pretty…
  • I know there is probably a helluva lot more pressing stuff at the moment with PS issues and so on, but I'd like to keep this wheel a little bit squeaky in case it gets forgotten about in the chaos.
  • I think you missed my point. The fact that you can use Enchants WITHOUT having to bind them puts them in a better situation. You can choose to use them as often as you like, transfer them between characters, and then when you decide you have something better, sell them for full value. Adding the ADDITIONAL option of…
  • There's actually very little difference. Some of the "Campaigns" turned into "Adventures" allowing them to be completed quicker, but prior to the new levelling system, it was possible to get to L80 a lot faster than it now takes to get to L20, due to Milestones now needing to be met rather than just the rapid garnering of…
  • I think making the chase items guaranteed on 75 keys would crash the economy on Mounts and Companions. And AD would be even harder to trade for Zen. Of course, you wouldn't NEED much Zen, just enough to buy VIP. Because, if lock boxes switch say... every two to three months, people wouldn't NEED to buy keys at all, ever.…
  • I suppose the idea is to get the uber rich to buy stuff from lower end players. Those poorer players are more likely to spend the money than those with hundreds of millions of AD, thereby slowly sucking it out of the game. If so it's unlikely to have the impact they want. It's more likely to cause bad feeling because…
  • You do know that you can generally sell account wide mounts and companions before binding them, right? You have the option. If they were to apply a binding system to ALL enchants, not just bloody Mythics you would have three options. Sell. Use as is on one character, with the potential to remove and sell later, (an option…
  • I infer from what you are saying is that stats need to be capped to not be useless? That's not the case. They are modifiers to base scores. It's factually incorrect to state that, "Item level means nothing if you can't cap your stats..." Stats are a factor in a mathematical equation. a) If your stats goes down and your IL…
  • There's no in game precedent to support that. For instance, does that happen with Account Wide Epic and Legendary Mounts and Companions? I think it would prove simpler to gain a new R2 and account bind it. I imagine there will be other ways to gain new enchants above R1, beyond the initial exchange. I'm the same. I've got…
  • Rank 11 will be exchangeable. As will Rank 10. It's Rank 9 and below that won't be on the exchange because there are just so many in the game. As far as normal enchants go, I agree that when some of us have literally thousands sitting in vaults, the imbalance it would create in availability of exchange currency would tip…
  • It is a proper ball ache, and I'm getting fed up with it. It's worth checking and switching (removing what you can) all your mounts, collars and companions including their gear, because it seems like it could be anything at all that is causing it. I've had all sorts of active gear, and what have you, be the block to it…
  • Well, no... you wouldn't play a specific event that drops Stronghold Vouchers JUST for the progress element. You would expect "Progress" to occur as a matter of course. I'd assumed that by now the other regions where there are monsters that don't add to the Progress bar were documented and Cryptic would be aware of them.…
  • It would also be a tough mix for the PS4 lot, dropping into a game that is dominated by players on another platform who, (in some instances) have several years head start on them. It shouldn't make any difference in game play as all new players would be indistinguishable, but there are enough reasons for the SONY vs MS…
  • Ahh the sweet joy of the highs and lows of Neverwinter... it builds your hopes to watch on and laugh as they crash to pieces around you... Following the info kindly given to me regarding getting my artefact weapon to do something I can use... I checked the price on the Bazaar for the Augmentation Cubes, and BLIMEY!!! They…
  • From what I've read on fora for other potential crossover games, (this is already a big talking point for potential Star Trek Online players...) Microsoft are up for it but, in public, Sony are smiling politely and dodging the issue like a hopped up TR on 10'000 Rec. They keep using words that make it seem like it just…
  • I've considered VIP, how much difference does it make with stuff like that? I read the blurb, but I'd like to know the actual difference form someone who uses it. As with much of the online lore of NW, there are conflicting points of view, and some of the terminology still confuses me. If you increase the quality of stuff…
  • I raced through the first 60 levels and found the same thing. I assume it's just the fact that the game was built with an arc for levels 1-60 and the extra 10 levels are just a stop gap to extend the duration to get to the max, without the same reward to effort ratio as the previous. Wait till you hit 70 and need 1.4…
  • This "Cube" could be the answer to my novice dilemma... That would be the "Cube of Augmentation" I guess? Just checked it out on the Wiki and it says they are only 12.5K AD from the Wondrous Bazaar... BUT... I've come to realise that the Wiki ain't always up to date, 'specially for XB1. Is that the sort of ball park figure…
  • I haven't seen the prices, I'll have a look later today when I'm on, but since the level I'm crafting cost 15K AD as part of the resources needed to make them they should sell for 20K+.
  • Thank you very much!
  • OK... thanks that helps. So, considering that I'm 12 days into L70, (IL 1650) and have very little by way of snacky gear, (I'm devoting time to campaign Boons at the mo' to grab some +400s, and boosting enchantments to 7) is the Elemental stuff substantially better than the gear I can buy from the Elven dude in Sharandar…
  • That's how market forces work in real life. The Newbie isn't going to be able to stack the market with dozens, so those prices will be little and infrequent. So the mass marketers shouldn't need to panic sell. (If they are in it long term and devote IC time to Profession farming.). If they do jump to the equivalent of a…
  • Are there any other requirements? I've been doing this as stated above, and still no motes. Do I need to be ONLY carrying the container for the type of mote I'm trying to pick up, and leave the other three at the bank? Or do the Events I take on need to be at the 15+ player level that some require for higher level rewards?…
  • I queued 15 minutes to enter a dungeon yesterday, finally got accepted and the whole thing was over; I was standin on my own in this empty level. It took five minutes to walk the whole (empty) dungeon and OK... the loot was still available... but not a whole lot of fun.
