Yeah, I have been in Neverwinter once since June. I keep an eye on this issue because I really liked Champions Online, and I haven't been there much since June either.

We've actually been far more patient than any company actually deserves on this issue. QA is very important. You cannot throw multiple fixes at customers and expect them to have any confidence in your company the next time you say "this should take care of it".

Fried? Steamed? Souffled? In any case, it's been three weeks now, and a week since I posted in the other thread about it having been two weeks. Given the four months between problem identification and an attempt at a fix, I was hoping the fix for the fix would be accomplished in less than a month.

I disagree, but I'm not a person that feels benefited by profiting from the mistakes of others. It should not be that difficult to see who claimed one during that time period and remove them from the unqualified (or remove them from all, and let the qualified reclaim). The free Death Slaad was a mistake. One I hope they correct, but I will merely be disappointed if they do not correct it. The Death Slaad, Phase Spider, and Black Death Scorpion were supposed to be account-wide pets for people who qualified back in June. They are just now addressing the "proofreading error", and should be providing these companions account-wide for only those people that qualified during the event.…

So, after work and classes, I log in. The Slaad is disabled, the spider and scorpion are not there at all. *sigh* I'm hoping they didn't implement the other two because of the problem with the slaad going to more than intended.

The cats were a symptom, but people who had nothing to do with the exploit (other than buying suddenly cheap cats on the AH) still lost something they weren't entitled to IIRC.
