When it comes to Lure farming, the usual rule is that the person that starts the encounter get the Lures. The big cost is farming the materials to start the encounter, killing it is small stuff. Usually the group leader enforces this by setting Leader Decides as loot rule. In your case it sounds like leader forgot, or was…
We are stepping into the middle of the not-so-obvious stat system here. The effect from gear is split in two: * The IL effect on base damage and hp. This applies only for unscaled content * The effect of shifting stats from useful to less useful stats. Across the 15 stats, the general rule is that the net effect of a gear…
I would actually see this from the other side: How do you efficiently play a cleric healer without having tab heal on tank? There are two religions when it comes to cleric healing: * The slack and laid back one: Just keep Healing Word up and tab heal tank. For this one having tab heal on tank is critical. * The very busy…
You don't really need to do mToS to have (almost) BiS gear. * Most of the 2000IL gear have bad effects so you should use other gear anyways. * You get double stat companion gear without doing mToS. It has the same number of points, just split over two stats. If you want the mToS artifact you can buy it off AH. Basically…
The value yielded by the new lockboxes is way way lower than the old ones. I am opening the old lockboxes that got a separate tradebar drop while supply lasts - I should have enough for a few years. With old lockboxes you could actually buy keys and expect to have a net AD gain from it. With new system, very unlikely.
It is not so much about IL for these, but knowing and executing tactics properly. You CAN power through, but it is so much easier if you do proper tactics. Boss 1 and 2 do have a status bar on right side, and the fuller that get the more you have missed tactics and the harder the fight will get. Essential tactics…
After a brief period of too much AD in the economy at the end of last mod, it seems the ZAX queue is falling again. We had 2-3 weeks with no queue reduction, or even a small increase. I also see this on the insignia prices. They were pretty high the last 2-3 weeks, but now they have fallen down towards the normal 1000 AD…
You should not expect to always run your favorite activity to progress in game. Sometimes you just have to clench your teeth and push through. The amount of RQs required to get the boons is not THAT huge. I am sure you will manage even if getting into RTQ and RADQ as a dps is a pain. Personally I always use my cleric for…
1/22/2022 to 10/10/2022 - 9 months minus 12 days 01/30/2022 -> 10/21/2022 - 9 months minus 9 days Queue length was briefly at 45.9M but is now at 46.5M Seems queue length is growing again and wait time too. Maybe to be expected at end of mod and with most people being done with buying their dragon gear? New AD sinks coming…
It is a little bit harder now, but my Mystagogue is still doing most of the killing with me watching. He just dies a little bit more so I need to lob a extra few AEs when he loses aggro to death. Still easy and sleep inducing :)
My strategy: From entrance take left and go to the crack in the wall there. You can jump up and stand a little bit above floor. Fire some AE spells if the mobs get too close, but mostly let my Mystagogue kill. Don't bother with the items that pop. Quaff a heal potion if necessary.. but mostly not needed. Mystagogue is…
I rarely/never use Arcane Empowerment with AE. AE is mostly used for trash clear, and stuff is dead in one rotation. For bosses you usually go with a ST loadout. So basically it feels like an edge case(Arcane Empowerment on AE) is used to nerf the main case(Arcane Empowerment on ST). This will bring the overall dps of the…
Probably much due to the massive AD drains from dragon hunts gear and mods. Those will to some degree persist as new players are coming up, but the old players are more or less done with those I guess. ZAX queue purchases is to some degree an old (and rich) player thing. Looking at mod 24, the gear there also cost…
Hmm, I probably should go through AH and buy all the low cheap green companion I miss. History has taught us that you never know which companion is BiS tomorrow, so having them all probably is a good idea.
There usually is a progress to this. With a new zone, people will get more and more experienced and understand tactics better until it is easy. Just look at normal CoK. It was very hard in the beginning since people did a lot of stupid stuff, now it is fairly routine. Just be patient and keep trying. If you leave and do…
There is a separate forum for bugs, that is where they said you should post. https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/categories/bug-reports-pc Nitocris is reading the bugs forum weekly and relaying what she finds to the devs. This forum may or may not be read by Cryptic.
Actually I disagree a little with this. I think we need to separate between new players and veterans. New players most likely contribute most of the Zen to the queue, old players know better. And the influx of the new players has not been that much affected by the bad mods.. new players were not really hit hard by them.…
