I went ahead and voted Trickster Rogue, but honestly I'm not sure. It's pretty much a tossup between Trickster Rogue and Guardian Fighter, along with a Devoted Cleric alt... and depending on what the new class(es) are, too.
I'm guessing astral diamonds will probably end up being like the various seals and stuff you earned from heroics in WoW. Except, hopefully, we'll earn them a little faster. So yeah, definitely lots of grinding. And keeping an eye on your hourly invocation, or whatever it was called, and hoping you get lucky enough to get a…
Agreed. I'm incredibly excited for this game now. I've been watching it like a hawk since its announcement (thanks to its name), and now that I've gotten to play it I'm totally in love. I feel like I'm deprived of a new video game that's actually fun until this one releases. :P
Ranger. One that can dual-wield and be a tough, dual-wielding fighter that can hold his own in combat if he wants to take that over archery... although I don't care if a class like that is called "Ranger" or not. If it's called "Berserker," or something, I'd be fine with that too. I just want a tough, up-front fighter type…
Same issue. If I do manage to connect without timing out, then my character list is blank, although I also don't have the option to make new ones (I had 2 characters anyway, so that may have something to do with it).
Oh, right. My bad. I'm glad they've already been confirmed as part of the game. Wish they had tails, but nothing's perfect. Now I'll eagerly wait and see if Cryptic wants some of my money so I can turn into one. At any rate, the need for green slimes still applies. :P
So around what time of day does the beta start on Friday? Sorry if that's a stupid question. I thought I remembered seeing the time somewhere in another topic, but now I can't find it. >.> Can't wait for the beta. :D
In all seriousness: werewolves. Cool-looking ones (without those lame, newfangled, long ears that point backwards that people put on them in so many things today) that are - hopefully - playable in some capacity, even if it's just an item I have to pay "real people" money for and it's nothing more than an aesthetic…
If I had the money? Yes. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I'm very hard pressed for any kind of spending cash these days, much less anything over $100. I hope to try and round up $60 for the Guardian pack, though, before the next beta weekend.
Thanks for the answers. Just thought of another little question, which I'm not sure anyone will really know the answer to, but... Who are the voice actors you've ("you" being whoever) heard so far? Also, in relation to that, are there different voice sets or do the voices vary by some other specification (race, for…
I agree. I've played a lot of other MMORPGs now (WoW, TOR, GW2, etc.), and I always join RP servers... even if I've almost never actually had much good RP going on in those games, unfortunately. I'm sure Neverwinter will do something similar, but I'm eager to see how it'll all turn out.
Pretty much everywhere you look, the information will seem overwhelming. :P For easy sources of knowledge, you could read up on the Forgotten Realms wikia: http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page But that's still a lot to take in. As for deities, Wikipedia actually has a pretty nice article on the FR deities, but…
I know I've said this before elsewhere, but... Will werewolves be, or ever become, playable? At least as a kind of subrace that can be added to another race, such as a human, or just some kind of shapechange ability? The ability to turn into one (and actually be useful in combat, as opposed to the way all the shapechange…
I've been following Neverwinter since it was first announced, but I managed to pause just long enough to miss the first beta weekend. Before the next one rolls around, I guess I'll go ahead and buy a Guardian pack for the horse and pet wolf and all the rest of that stuff. Wish it wasn't so long between the first and second…
How does the naming system work? Are there separate first names and last names? If not, can we instead put spaces and more than one capital letter in our name? Also, I'd ask for any and all information regarding werewolves in this game, but I'm not sure if I'd really get much of an answer. I was holding out the vain hope…
