Werewolves. Cool-looking ones (without those lame, newfangled, long ears that point backwards that people put on them in so many things today) that are - hopefully - playable in some capacity, even if it's just an item I have to pay "real people" money for and it's nothing more than an aesthetic appearance change at will.
Oh, right. My bad. I'm glad they've already been confirmed as part of the game. Wish they had tails, but nothing's perfect. Now I'll eagerly wait and see if Cryptic wants some of my money so I can turn into one.
At any rate, the need for green slimes still applies. :P

Nothing scares the living and the dead like a Tarrasque. I wonder if a party of 5 max level characters could take it down?
Wizard's in Neverwinter do not have wish. So if you could get it to - 300 hp you would still lack wishing it away. With the way HP has grown over editions and MMOs it would probably be more like - 10000 hp to boot.

Trolls please.
I haven't seen one during BW2.
Characters: - Titania Silverblade, the Iron Rose of Myth Drannor (Lvl 60 GWF, Destroyer) - Gwyneth, the Cowardly Cat Burglar Drowling (Lvl 60 TR, Saboteur) - Lady Rowanne Firehair, Heartwarder of Sune (Lvl 33 DC) - Satella, Sensate (LvL 44 CW, Renegade, Non-Active)
"The gibbering mouther is not regarded as an evil creature, but in order to sustain its mad self, it must feast upon the bodily fluids and sanity of mortal creatures, preferably intelligent ones. It attacks by spitting strings of protoplasmic flesh which end in a mouth and one or more eyes at opponents, which then bite them, causing both acid and blinding damage. When it has defeated an opponent, it swallows them whole, and then proceeds to suck the bodily fluids and sanity. It is possible for the victim to cut their way out."
Also invisible stalkers, bulettes, and hook horrors would be fun. Haven't played much beta so not sure what's in/out yet.

One of the main reasons I want a Terrasque in NW is that it would suggest that the programers have created an environment with enough creativity to mimic the "real world" setting of DnD. As it takes many different things working in conjunction to be able to even part-take in such a ridiculous quest. I had the distinct pleasure of such an event, and it took a Staff of Power and Staff of the Magi's retribution strike to open a gateway to the Abyss to stop the **** thing. I could only hope that some other craziness could work if we lacked a "wish" type spell.

I'd like to see some regular/non-ice Goblins.
How about some wood, clay, stone, and metal golems? I know we have bone golems. Are those Rimefire ones ice golems?
We have tiger and bear mounts and panther companions, as well as fighting wolves. How about some other animal enemies?

. . . . . After a review of the thread, I'm going to allow this. Just keep in mind that Necroing isn't allowed. In this case though, this thread is still relevant and filled with a lot of still pertinent feedback.

Stirges? Harpies? Need more flying foes. (Not just the imps that don't really fly.) And some .. I think they were called shriekers? Y'know trap-monsters.. living stalactites that fall (deliberately) and that's their attack. Anything that's not just a skin on the same humanoid monster with its stats modified. And whatever happened to the simple but beloved colony of giant ants... More things that trick you. Things to make people think twice about sprinting down corridors unknown. XD Ooooh~ MANTICORE!

. . . . . Hah, how about Astral Dragons! I bet they gotta be up in arms now having ALL the gods now in their home domain, the Astral Sea!
(Still, I'd love to see a major, bi-yearly event for the Tarrasque - by the way, there is only one Tarrasque in the Realms. With the absence of a Wish Spell, if there were two, we'd all be doomed - especially if one was male and the other female. The Tarrasque in the realms has an inherent animosity towards the Gods and anything Divine. It goes into hibernation anywhere from several weeks to millennium or longer. No one knows when or where the creature dwells and sleeps or where it will strike next. Now with the Wish spell being no more (in 4th, due to the reshaping of magic), it is even harder to kill, as if it wasn't hard enough. No one has ever been able to kill it, as it always regenerates, even from the smallest bit of remains, if one could even damage it that much. By canon law, it retreats far away from civilization and into hibernation when reaching 0 hit points.)

Sadly my knowledge of FR is a little patchy which is why I have so much fun with the lore in the game I'd love to see a Dark Sun MMO at some point though (anyone remember Crimson Sands?) - so much potential! Tarrasques are pretty rare even on Athas but there's definitely more than one of them wandering the wastes
Not sure Borys or any of the other Dragon Kings could make it into the Realms though - Athas was in its own Crystal Sphere which meant Spelljammers couldn't get there - a friend of mine who was a Planescape DM said that you could reach Athas through Sigil but he never told me how

. . . . .No worries, I've been DMing Forgotten Realms for 20 years now, so I have enough lore to share about! *the mage smiles and nods* . . . . . Yeah, Dark Sun has three Tarrasques, if memory serves. Two for sure though. The third I am not positive about and may have been an addition by the DM I played with. I do remember reading that there were at least two in Dark Sun though. Check my post again by the way, I expanded my post with the rest of my knowledge, or at least more of my knowledge on the Realm's only Tarrasque.
. . . . .Yeah, you can reach anywhere through Sigil as it is the city of Keys / Gates. There are literally thousands upon thousands of hidden portals in Sigil that lead to all over the multi-verse. One only needs to find a key and then find the key's portal. The key can range from anything like a grain of sand, to a spoon, to even a living being and the portals can be just as varied. Only the Lady of Pain knows the location and destination of every portal in her City. This is probably why he didn't tell you, as it would require a lot of adventuring to gain such a key and find the matching gate.
. . . . .My post here is getting a tad off topic, if you'd like to know more, just PM me or post in Moonstone Mask or Off Topic and I'll be happy to indulge any queries I can answer on lore.
I really miss old PnP days, 20 years ago, when all was new and awesome... its hard to get new PnP groups at 37
On topic: Rakhashas/genies always have been awesome as enemies/NPC, tricky and powerful, and FR lore friendly.
We don't have any EVIL ARCHMAGE as final boss on dungeons, valindra is the closest (lich) but she's not defeatable yet.
The "competing adventure party" in cragmire crypts is lame, when you are epic the harddest encounters are adventurer's geared NPCs, with a good AI a LvL 60 party of NPCs can make a great encounter for any End game dung.
Where are the Balors?
Stirges were awesome to bother my players in the old AD&D days.

Well in 4th edition you can never kill it. you can defeat it but never kill it. So no getting vorpal teeth LOL. Soon as you get it to zero hp it burrows to the center of the planet to regen and no just 5 charcters should not be able to kill it

If indeed there are no beholders in Neverwinter, I have to say ... (wait for it) ... I did not see that coming.
