Not really, that was simply because they were full casters with access to any spell they wanted with no limit on a number of spells learned, and many of the spells were very powerful. I'll spare you the tl;dr, but some of these buff spells had restrictions that meant they only worked on the cleric/druid, which meant the…
I'm voting yes because GWFs can do a lot of damage now. However, I'm not 100% sure that "a lot of damage" is enough. I mean sure I can beat CWs and TRs on the meters in some T2 dungeon runs, but when it comes down to it, it seems like other classes are going to be generally more useful to have along.
For a while people said that fighters had no place in dungeons, and the last patch had some nerfs to non-fighters and big buffs to fighters. Therefore, I'd say the forums are being listened to. Plus several exploits that were reported on the forums were fixed.
A fair point, but the fact remains that it still took a good 40 minutes or so to clear out the Pre-C'Thun trash. And flame packs in Molten Core required specific class assignments. Imaging the wailing that would occur in NW if you actually had to stop clearing for about a minute, designate who was going to handle which…
Right, because the mobs were HARDER. They had MORE HIT POINTS. Well, not in pure numerical terms most likely, but they took longer and a lot more effort to kill. Do you have any idea how long it took to run a full Molten Core clear start to finish? Pre-Expansion? Whenever I hear people complaining about Castle Never taking…
Trash has too much HP? Dear lord... this game has some of the most palatable "trash" I've ever seen. I wonder if any of you guys did the flame packs in Molten Core or the Pre-C'Thun trash, back in the day. And they drop usable enchants way more often than any of those ever dropped anything of value...
I'm neither posting in denial nor support of the system, but I do notice a flaw in the logic of those who bash the system: they seem to think that if the change was implemented, those who already had the gear they wanted wouldn't get any more items from T2s. This is flawed thinking. The "greed" function exists and it sees…
"Stint" actually works in that case, though I understand it's a bit of a strange usage. The mushroom thing is just me messing up after editing the sentence a few times though, so I'll make sure to fix that. I believe I noted the problem with the quest completion in the description box, it seems to be a problem with a map…
Well, I do believe it was primarily those two packs that had me worried, though I thought it was more than two--I'll need another run at this later to confirm, it just seemed to me that there were more mobs in several of the packs than were in typical encounter packs, but I do admit I'm a little inexperienced with the…
All righty, finished my run through it. Now, I did manage to complete it solo, but I definitely can't recommend it for solo play--it's certainly possible, but frustrating at times. I won't really be having a solo mindset for the review, however. The quest was certainly nicely handled on the story side of things, though…
You need to designate the item as a "contact" and give it "dialogue"--which is a bit counter-intuitive, I know, given "contact" is a separate checkbox from "interactable."
Just did your quest, and left a review. I definitely enjoyed it, and my only slight issue might be that the undead encounter stacking about mid-way through the dungeon may be rough for some higher level characters that don't have good equipment yet. Oddly enough the demon encounters at the end didn't seem nearly as rough.…
But the "blue circle" shows up on a player-by-player basis. For example, when a rogue goes into Stealth mode, the circle appears around all monsters, because the rogue has combat advantage against them. But obviously, a rogue going into Stealth mode does not give the entire party combat advantage. Stealth is just one…
All right, I played your quest, and here are my thoughts: The combat was good, environments were engaging, and it had about the right amount of challenge. However, the dialogue needs a massive overhaul. I see you're already working on this, but yeah, that's my major gripe with it. In particular here are a few other things…
The grammar is very weird, Nightmare Wizardry says "[You have] a chance to grant combat advantage against it." In contrast Allied Opportunity is very specific (and much more clear), it says "you and your allies gain combat advantage against the damaged targets." I assumed Nightmare Wizardry was a personal effect as well…
I've actually had this happen when questing (no PvP involved), without any armor/weapon enchants, so it may not just be that. I wish I could tell you the specifics but I honestly don't know. It was in the fiery mountain zone, was doing a quest, got knocked around by some of the monsters there and it put a 2m cooldown on…
Campaign: Rise of the Fell King - NWS-DS38FJ5R8 Author: @magilzeal Players: Solo Challenge: Easy/Moderate Tags: #balanced #dungeon #lore Q1: The Fell Cavern - NW-DTWX9RBQH - feedback thread More quests planned!
Mostly, though at least once it's crashed when I just brought up the "front page" thing with L (same message). Vast majority of the time it's just the "for review" panel though.
1. Companion improvements: better AI, and freaking add those scrolls to improve the quality already. 2. Foundry improvements: we need the ability to make real boss fights, skill nodes and treasure chests, etc. 3. Class balance issues: a cursory glance should tell you something's up with this. 4. Better ways to acquire…
