The first four people quit after sitting at the door for 3min, the second set sat at the door until I killed the boss. The game teaches you the mechanics of how to "win". Right now winning in PoM is sit at the door and do nothing.

My character finally got their crafter today, but not in the normal way of walking through the door of the crafthall and it appears. I got it through the normal recruitment at the desk. There is a crate against the wall to the right of the workbench that has a bunch of free "worn" tools in it that are for levels 1-10. After that go to the Professions vendor and buy your next few tools (I think 20 and 30). At around 40+ you will need to make your own tools, or buy them off the auction hall for AD.

Do you have a companion summoned? I had this problem until my companion came back from training and the quest re-appeared.
