I understand the game has a lack of end game content to keep max level players busy at this time. But is this a good enough reason to keep a broken mechanic broken. Technically, the game hasn't even been released yet. Most games have a lack of end game content immediately after being released. Lack of end game content is a…
I may be missing something but, how is this any different than every other MMORPG out in existence right now? Why are people reacting like this is something so out of the norm. It is standard MMORPG procedure. Nothing more, nothing less. How is that not an issue? It's not like the hardcore players and non-hardcore players…
Although methods by which players obtain their end game gear vary, it does not make his argument any less truthful. I don't think anyone would consider $10 to be an obscene amount of money. And if players are able to pay $10 to obtain all of their end game gear, I am pretty sure that is a no-brainer decision to make for…
It's amazing that players are still needing to be educated regarding exhibiting respect and common decency toward others. The one thing that is going to drive me away from this game faster than any exploit, bug, glitch, lack of content etc., is the inconsiderate nature inherent in a large portion of this game's player…
I'd like to propose a great idea I posted on another thread. Why not give all new players max level characters with fully geared epics and enchants and just call it an FPS?
Actually, I think if it would have the reverse effect because all of the epic items will sell for 10 AD due to the market being flooded with them. Remember the law of supply and demand. The more plentiful an item is = less demand = cost less. The less plentiful and item is = more demand = cost more.
I have an idea! Why don't we just give all of the new players a max level fully geared character and just make it an FPS. That should even things out alright.
Really? An entire guild, 200+ strong, of max level players with full Epic gears and enchants ... and the game hasn't even been released yet? Wonderful. Nothing wrong with that picture at all.
The system is working as intended. The purpose of the design is to keep you logging in on consecutive days. Should you fail to do so, for whatever reason, the system will punish you by taking them all away. That is the entire purpose of the system. We don't get to change it because we don't like it.
Thank you. In my part of the world a day begins at midnight and ends at midnight 24 hours later. I could be wrong but isn't that pretty clear cut definition of "daily?" Why complicate things?
Yes ... it is a computer game after all. The program should be able to detect if you are properly geared to confront the level of difficulty required of the dungeon and if so allow entry. Sort of how we are not allowed to enter some dungeons until we reach a certain level. Really not rocket science. Why leave this decision…
It would be nice if that whole "elitist mentality' was erased from the MMORPG genre. I understand that there are egotist that thrive on the whole "I am greater than thou" decease. But it baffles me how entire communities have been consumed by it. These are suppose to be games to be played for fun and this mentality has…
My post was meant as sarcasm Chrono lol I am pretty sure the difficulty level of bosses is already adjusted for a group of "reasonably geared and skilled" players. MMO difficulty is usually designed to be completed on average performance. It would otherwise spawn a flurry of complaints from the "entitlement crowd."
Nevermind the fact that it only took a few days for many of them to get to level 60, plus a few minutes more at the AH buying all of their Epic gear. Nevertheless ... we all bow down to their greatness and after the BoP patch they will all leave ... and no end bosses will ever be killed again. /cries ...
Again, no one said he does not have valid concerns. It is the way he is presenting his concerns that is faulty. "Goodbye threads" are not allowed. Re-post without mention of "goodbyes" and the post will be in compliance. /waits for next "so what" thread ... 3 ... 2 ... 1
So my point is ... it is against the rules so it is better to modify it so that the OPs concerns can be heard. Your point is ... so what? ... causing the post to be locked and banished? Which of the two is actually being more helpful?
um ... except for its against forum rules. "Goodbye threads" are not allowed. Remove all mention of "goodbyes" and re-submit suggestions and poster will be in compliance. Not sure what the need to say "goodbye" adds to the point of the thread other than as a retaliatory measure. Sort of like a jilted lover.
Support > Contact us > Submit = Much more effective People posting in this thread are players. They can not do anything about the OPs concerns. All threads like this do is antagonize and invite discourse. Exhibit A = This Thread.
