They don't. They actually have statistics that show an Arcanist is only 3% better dps in TOMM than an assassin. Mind boggling that they don't actually play the game to see just how wrong they are.
I don't think this can be stated strongly enough. If your not getting into TOMM now due to your class not putting out enough DPS, nerfing the Arcanist is still not going to get those classes in. If anything, it will require even more Arcanists and no carries.
Here is the problem with your methodology. If you were to increase across the boards the dps powers of Warden, Assassin, Blademaster etc. by 6% and then reran your parse over a month, you would end up with the exact same results as before. (i.e. Arcanist would be 3% higher than Warden, etc. etc.) Whatever our normalization…
Forget about the accuracy of those specifics of what the OP stated. Healing is not being scaled properly. Most affected by scaling is just another way to say it's over scaled. Scaling is BS to begin with. Have us spend time, money and effort to get well geared and throw it all in the garbage.
No, he's correct. I had just finished an easy lomm run with a great group and great healer. We decided to run a redq and we ended up in VT. The healer was complaining the whole run about just how badly scaled his healing was. Was a DC healer too, not OP like the OP. He said he was healing like mad and it was barely budging…
It also depends on what gear you are using. Right now BiS is a mixture of old pieces (example ebony chest piece, primal arms) etc. for maximum power which gives maximum damage. If Xuna is doing enough damage to increase your dps, your simply not geared correctly.
Sorry but you simply can't do this. Everyone expects Black Friday sales. Not just in Neverwinter, but all over. If they don't want to accomodate with a good sale, people will spend their money elsewhere. That is just a Lose Lose situation for them. There are numerous posts about the backlog and it has little to do with the…
This makes no sense. If they sold tons of these and people who left the game still have VIP active, then this is a WIN WIN for them. It's like the old gym memberships that are sold but not used. Any sale even at 50% off is better than no sales at 0% off. Often these sales coax people into opening up their wallets when they…
These are crappy legendary mounts that effectively amount to only a speed upgrade. I think $56 is in line with an account unlock. Picture it this way. Any endgamers that would get this legendary mount as an account unlock are going to get the mounts they need anyway. This would just be a nice addition for any of their alts…
Yes, sadly they have decreased the amount of "MANY" players with each bad decision they have made over the last couple of years and clearly they look to decrease the population by "MANY" more.
No, this is a bug. The window will literally flicker back and forth between temporary bound and regular. Sometimes it doesn't do it, sometimes it does it only once, sometimes it does it like 4 times. Basically if you wait like 5 seconds after hitting buy it settles down and you get a normal dialog. Crazy HAMSTER.
Yes it's related to that, but that is only supposed to affect folks that recently did zen purchases while they wait for the purchase to clear. My Zen is all old and not affected by that. Basically if you click through fast, you will occasionally end up with a stack or 2 or however many of 7 day bound wards. If you click…
Basically what happens is as you purchase items, sometimes it brings up the normal purchase dialog and occasionally it will flicker between the normal purchase dialog and one that tells about a temporary account bind with a confirm bind button. The thing is, it will sometimes flicker back and forth quickly so you don't…
They can make it bind to account and allow you to move it to a different character once a month. I see folks quitting rather than grinding out a replacement legendary mount at this point. I would think not doing this would impact sales even more.
This has nothing to do with you using steam. Just look at the numbers going back to beta. You can see the steep dropoff just before they merged all the servers. You can see the steep dropoff right after mod6. These are known periods of player loss. We might not know the actual player population, but you get a very accurate…
You can stick your head in the sand but it won't make the problem go away. This mod is like mod 6. They are shedding players left and right. Steam is very valid for getting an idea for the change in player population. You can't get the actual numbers, but i'm confident the % change is accurate.
Here is the problem with this. It fully discourages folks from upgrading gear. Likewise, there is no advantage whatsoever to upgrading tiers of gear. For example, lets say the current level 80 weapons are iL 640 for the basic set, 660 for the next tier up, and 700 for the best. Then lets say someone has the bis from a…
It's actually not good. They basically caused overnight inflation and the Zen backlog will go back to where it was. Personally I was sitting in Zen, so at face value I made out, but this is not good for the longevity of the game. They made it harder to farm AD, folks can't even run old dungeons and any runs are a lot…
Yeah, unfortunately there is barely any sellable loot like Fardelver or DK anymore. Certainly none that you can count on with any consistency. The best you can hope for is an artifact drop from Orcus, but good luck with the RNG on that.
Well, I think they need to do something. I have held off (and will continue to hold off) getting a legendary mount because I don't have 1 main that I play and they don't have a good track record with regard to wrecking classes. Thus I am unwilling to commit a legendary mount to whatever I'm playing at the moment.
