You have to make it what you want it to be. The game is very easy to level up in once you focus on leveling. I'm saying this out of personal experience as I have 3 level 60 character and on my way on my fourth character. You should just give it a try and have focus, do not care about Guilds until level 60 at least once,…

I would recommend pressing the "H" key on your keyboard in-game and try to get a Game Master to look at it. I know this isn't much help, but it's not much else I would recommend other than trying to switch channels (instances marked with #) and if that doesn't work try relogging. -Daniel J.

Have you purchased any of the packs, as I just got the Knight of the Feywild one and the option to choose that group now. Never had that before I purchased. Might be that. If not, I don't know. :)
