  • Fireball Clearly this is the only spell wizards should be using. The fact that we're not using it all the time means it's under-powered. This is Dungeons and Dragons and it's a combat-oriented game. -> Fireball It is the solution to all problems, especially since we're not a support class ... and 'Control' is no longer in…
  • Chat is working, but maybe your instances were as inactive as this forum.
  • I agree with everything said except your third bullet point. • The dev and community teams should want to know that game bugs exist and are being used. To clamp down all discussion of such things you're accomplishing nothing more than moving the discussion to other channels where you no longer have control or part in the…
  • I think boons are going to be harder to get if everyone is stripping mobs to get currency for AD runs. I can see myself searching for the instance with the lowest population just to do daily quests.
  • What would be nice is if they had another set or two with a similar set bonus, but different stats. Thus you'd have options as to which one to use for your build depending on class and which stats are more important to you.
  • I agree. other sets are trash. But I think that has more to do with the meta of the game being 'do as much damage as possible'. It would be nice if they buffed other sets ... but everyone's still going to gravitate to whichever one does the most damage.
  • If Orcus gets nerfed, everyone will just jump to whatever set appears to be bis for damage. Builds will just shift to the next best set. Does it really matter that Orcus is good now? If the Dagger set got buffed a little, it would be a better AoE/group option. Otherwise you can argue that Orcus set is already balanced by…
  • I imagine you could just use professions to make cheap gear to sell to vendors for gold. ... Preferably something stackable like potions. Just have to figure out cost vs reward to see what ends with a profit. If nothing pays, then I guess profession would be a total waste. Maybe the stuff you get from gathering can be sold…
  • Why nerf it when future modules will likely make it obsolete anyway?
  • Nope. If what other people are saying is true about the holiday sales, I'd rather have fun somewhere else. Broken interfaces are not something I bother dealing with any more. I'd name a bunch of other games that don't have spam text and are fun to play, but the mods probably wouldn't like it. =)
  • I'll keep complaining as not saying anything means it will never change. Squeeky wheel gets the grease. I'm an adult: 1. I have money. 2. I don't have an unlimited amount of playtime. 3. My gaming is to relax and have fun. As much as I like Neverwinter, what I experienced with the release of the Barovia module totally…
  • I find first thing in the morning to be the worst. You can only buy like two or three things in a row before the AH starts choking.
  • Do you have a point other than "I can ignore it"? Wouldn't you want them to make the game better if it was as simple as reducing the amount of needless spam?
  • I remember someone posted a suggestion in another thread about adding player homes. Where each toon had a instance for their private residence similar to a guild home. I think that might be a cool thing for the game. They wouldn't necessarily need new artwork. Could use stronghold assets. Could be a whole new series of AD…
  • You can't ignore it when it gets to the point that you can't see the screen. Trying to battle mobs and you can't even see what's going on. My solution was to avoid the game altogether until the module release/sale is over. If the devs can't make an interface that works HAMSTER em.
  • Stormraider Clydesdale mount gives you a +2000 movement buff and can be equipped with the Gladiator's Guile Insignia bonus.
  • The game doesn't really start until you get to level 70, so you're basically still playing the tutorial.
  • From what I've read teams generally don't need healing in this mmo. ... They focus on dps and buffs/debuffs.
  • The thing is that earning AD gets easier as you get higher item level. I would say just earn the AD you can in the time you have and work through your campaigns to get the boons. If you can get into epic dungeons, most groups (in my experience) don't mind helping out one (or even two) lesser geared characters as long as…
  • As a new player I find I'm earning less. My main gripe would be that if I work on my boons, I'm not earning AD anywhere near as easily. If I aim to earn AD, I'm spending a lot more time on it and not working on my boons. AD used to be as easy as running random dungeons and skirmish on two toons. Now I run randoms on one…
  • You can also check the in-game Collections to see what's available where to get it. I got the Girdle of Might from a drop in Malabog's Castle. Pretty sure you can also get the pieces from killing Demogorgon.
  • mmominds.com shows updated builds for mod 14 so you'll have a general idea what's bis for your class. A lot of the stuff I can't afford, but it's good to get a general idea what items to go for or see what's desirable.
  • I'm amazed the interface doesn't have a limit to how many lockbox announcements can appear in a given time frame. It's fine now, but on Tuesday it was complete spam. Trying to fight the wolves in the intro mission and I couldn't even see what was going on.
  • I keep hearing that they want to reduce the amount of AD in the economy, but honestly, why would anyone spend zen to buy AD? On xbone the rate is like 1,000 zen ($10) to 380,000 AD. Upgrading a companion from rare to elite is 500k AD. ... so a little over $11 if you're looking for a short cut. And that's fairly cheap and…
  • I guess. I didn't feel like chopping through half a dungeon just to get kicked because they might get tired of waiting, so I left. ... They didn't even bother killing anything, just ran straight to the boss. Generally I really like the game so far, but this random dungeon thing seems like a weird way to earn your…
