Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'll go on a limb and say that the OP's tastes are in a minority. I find 2 & 4 passable, the rest are pretty bad and certainly worse than old models. Male halfing especially looks like some sort of a deformed creature between dwarf, hobbit, halfling and who-knows-what-else. YMMV

That's fair enough but you can't hide a bad move behind "work in progress". Even the concept art got bad reviews, naturally that models based on that will get equally bad reviews. The logic would dictate to fix it but apprently the rule of the thumb is to re-educate the playerbase instead.

What part of poor concept art and even worse model implementation is so hard for you to understand? You are the one who has huge issues with people not liking these models and no, we don't need re-educating. Glad it works for you, it doesn't for many of us.

Seeing how disgusting new halfings, elves and few assorted others look I am now fully in favor of allowing the race change.

Presumably that's a joke? I said decent looking female drow/elf and this one has exactly the same chipmunk face covered in melted plastic as the halfling female from couple of pages back. Nice work with half profile and hair pulled back to avoid showing it is impossible to make a narrow-faced elf.

It is "you", not "u", and mesh changes still don't explain horrible design tacked on the same mesh. Yes, we get the causes, thank you, the result is still the same and unacceptable.

Right, no complaint is valid, we are all just lazy and frustrated. Why don't you start a thread "I love new character models" and let us see support? And I am still waiting to see semi decent Drow or Elf, especially females.

WoW revamped models look great and probably with less poligons than these, also what does character look has to do with changes in the game mechanics?

Gee, what a nice picture. Why didn't they make a promotional picture with one of those amazing new and upgraded character models? As far as I can say the drow is old ugly model, show the players the amazing new melted plastic look. Really, since the new models are so great why don't they use them for promotion?

Really, so where are those silent masses of happy majority? In most games complainers are overrespresented on the forums but not to an extent that is here, positive feedback is absolutely miniscule. Or it might be the majority is not so happy and cheery.

Some are better than others but in my opinion it's a mediocre job overall, female elves look especially atrocious and it is even worse from the profile with the huge overbite. They did the same in Star Trek Online but customization there is better with more options, models are not as bad and old fetaures are still an option. These honestly remind of faces of WWI soldiers burned by mustard gas...

Aaand here I am again, another month passed. So should I just retire my drow cleric and reroll another race? Yes, drow darkfire still affects friends, self, companions etc. even on heals.
