You can definitely just claim however much you want out of the 2 million or 600k you get for each character. I have rolled two characters to 11 or 12 and gave them each 50k.
A guy leveled to max in WoW post Panda killing 2 enemies, just crafting and doing non lethal quests. In lots of games you can level through crafting, I don't get the hate on anything like that. Who cares if somebody else has wasted millions of AD on leveling to max in an hour, how does this change your gaming experience?
Haha, it's made me not want to open one at all because I see that mount message every 2 minutes or so, there are probably almost as many of those now as spiders.
I think the people who complain about this forget what RP stands for. I have an Aribeth because I really, really liked her, but so what? Just make believe that Drizzt is the "John" name of the Dark Elven population.
I levelled one up to 12 in about 2.5 hours this morning. I had already leveled a rogue to that level so had gear to help out. The biggest difference is the Greycloak weapon though. I can't imagine trying to level one without it, whereas with my rogue I was level 8 or 9 before I remembered we got a weapon with the…
It's not as marked of a difference in this game as say in DDO, so just play what you want to RP, at most you might be 2% different, and if you play with people who care about that, well, that's up to you.
Well, I did a pvp this morning it levelled us up to 19, but I was only 12 so take that with a grain of salt. Melee at that level = dead v. Clerics or Wizards. And you can be stunned till you are dead. I didn't have an escape skill but then I am not sure there are any. I won't be doing PvP in this game as a melee, at least…
You buy rock salt from the professions vendor that kicked off this whole journey. You do find some rare (green, and blue) crafting maps whilst adventuring but you can also buy the green ones from her.
I started playing when the Forgotten Realms was released, but I pretty much went to Pool of Radiance and the computer games as soon as they came out and didn't do that much pen and paper, none of my brother's were as into it as I was.
