It's been interesting to watch players' attitudes change over the years since implementation of F2P with MT's. The question I have is, are a majority of these complaints coming from players who used to spend $720-$900 over the typical 5-year span of a sub-based game, or are these players new to the MMORPG scene who've…
As one of the more significant perks of subbing, why not just let subbers open lockboxes without the need of a key? That would give much more value to a subscription than many F2P games have now.
I would argue that exploiters who get caught are not very bright. It's understood that many were doing this under the radar for some time before it was made more widely known and some of the "not very bright" exploiters let the cat out of the bag by doing or saying not very bright things. It seems to me that exploiters who…
Even ambisinisterr assured us in a previous thread that the armored version of the spider mount would always be exclusive to the HoN Founder's Pack. I'm not broken up about it by any means (I'm not even that big a fan of the mount); I just don't appreciate being misled and lied to by a company and its representatives.
Like anything else, if there's money in it, they'll do it. If not, oh well. I'm certain the bean counters have already advised them on the matter, so time will tell. In the meantime, since its a game developed and published in the US, I suppose it would be best to keep adapting. Try starting an "English, please'" rant like…
As is usually the case, there clearly is more to this story than we've heard. The leader messaged you that you should be more kindly next time. What transpired between the two of you during the run? Did you assault his/her clearly superior German sensibilities? (/sarcasm) I'm not saying that excuses this kind of behavior,…
"Productive"? I don't play computer games to be productive, I play them to have fun and kill some time. That includes Diablo 3. I'm plenty productive at work.
My biggest problem so far is that the published success rates aren't even accurate. Even the rate for lowly level 3 enchants is inaccurate: 90% has so far for me been more like 50%, and that's after a lot of fusions. The same issue exists in Champions and the mod fusion rates there as well. They really want you to buy…
The lack of diversity in appearance in this game is disappointing, especially considering how amazing the costume creator is in Champions Online, which uses the same engine. I share concerns that this will be implemented primarily through zen store purchased skins, rather than by adding in a very rudimentary costume…
Thanks for stating this. So many players in open betas forget this and just believe they are playing early. This is a "Fix it - I'm being inconvenienced" thread, not a "Hey guys, anyone seen this bug" thread.
So you're simply upset that the player with the fatter wallet can "try to be better than others and show off" in game as well as out? "Well, he may have a nicer house and faster car then me IRL, but at least I gots the epic lootz!" How bitter! Don't you have a financial district to go occupy somewhere?
The only semi-legitimate complaint I can see regarding BoE epics is that everyone will roll need on all loot now so they can sell what they can't use. Is that why you're upset, or is it that everyone can have access to the best gear in the game now?
So, is there a difference between power-leveling your way to 60 in 28 hours straight and using Astral Diamonds to do the same thing? I don't think so. It affects me not at all. I'm here to play the game; if someone else wants to use AD/zen/real money to get to 60 in a few hours, more power to them.
Sometimes the mail will lag, but you are correct that you have to get the title for each character through the mail. You should be able to display it eventually on every character you make, not just one.
Only a PC with a controller adapter (receiver) can detect the wireless controller. It has nothing to do with your OS. The cable is for power only, not transfer of data.
