Another thing I thought of... Add some of the ghostly walkways that we have seen as well as the rocky pathways that appear just before you get to the edge of the cliff. There is a ghostly walkway in Foundry. Just search for fx - ghostly walkway or something along those lines. The spiral staircases we see would be awesome…
This can only be done by triggers. For example; An event prompts an NPC to vanish and a guard to spawn in his place, with the same NPC skin. This gives the effect of an NPC fighting. I played around with this through dialog triggers. You can do some pretty funny stuff, such as prompting a bar fight or a small battle.
I did not know that. But thanks for the info. Also, there is alot of things that Cryptic can do, which we can't in Foundry. It's not a bad thing that I so happened to "replicate" a feature in the game.
This is a brilliant dungeon. I'm currently playing through it and thoroughly enjoying it! How did you add effects like the blurry vision and the shaking screen? ps; check out my quests if you have time.
Thanks for your rate and review. I should have stressed that it IS solo-able, but more enjoyable as a party. So I'm making that note now. Feel free to solo Cloak Tower Redux, if you so choose!
Cloak Tower Redux @hardrokka NW-DOYD3JBQR Duration 25 - 30 mins This is my first complete dungeon. It is a modified version of The Cloak Tower. More encounters, hidden traps and item puzzles added to spice things up! I'm needing reviews and ratings on my map. I will return the favour to those who try out my map. :)
Just played through, rated and reviewed. Your dungeon was very enjoyable, with some exciting encounters. I was hoping that the finale would have been a big boss encounter. By the way, how did you create your golems?
I've been really enjoying creating in Foundry, but there are a few things that really hinder creativity and progression; No ability to edit positions of encounters/NPCs in 3D editing mode. Lack of encounter editing features. Such as encounter difficulty (normal, brute, elite, boss) Lack of single-tiles for dungeon…
If you think mindlessly grinding is fun, then you're playing the wrong game! D&D has always been about story telling. This is what is wrong with RPGs today. Everybody is obsessed with a false sense of achievement. I bet only a small minority of players actually even read the dialogue in quests! If you want to grind…
Action really was required, but I think they went about it way too rashly. These nerfs punish everybody who uses Foundry maps. It will do nothing but deter people from making/playing with Foundry. THIS IS A VERY BAD MOVE! These are my suggestions on how to fix these issues; Player characters are cloned when they first play…
