You explain what is exactly wrong with it doesn't make it less of a bug though. Personally i find it minor and i don't have seen many major bugs. The ones i reported during beta are all more or less addressed. My guess is that most of the complaining stems for the fact that people expected much more than what the game…

I reinstalled STO for this and found out that it doesn't work what you wrote. You have to login with a pw account and you're never asked for any other account type. Only the neverwinter installer asked for it once.

Not really, devs don't deal with accounts at all, that's just administration dept. If admins forgot to check the checkbox for nw beta in their database then you won't get in, it's as simple as that.

Just to bump this one, STO lifetimer here too, no luck on login... Chose that i had no cryptic account and off i went to account error....:(
