When real money is exchanged in a game there is always going to be a bot problem. They will always be one step ahead of detection because that is their business. Until wages players stop purchasing In-Game Currency and the practice becomes less profitable we are going to have a massive bot problem.
It really is a shame. Such potential but once again the D&D name was abused again for this cash grab. If you think this game is anything but a way to scam people out of money you are mistaken. Look at the examples..35$ (say it out loud to yourself..thirty-five dollars..that is a lot of money to a majority of Americans, for…
The result you receive from packs like this are way too random. How PW is able to sell these things and certain lockboxes without an online gambling license is questionable.
The acronym that used to be used when scolding another for not "playing right" used to be L2P. This game however needs another one. Instead of learning2play I have noticed that most people tell others L2W, or learn to workaround the bugs. You know a game is fun when you see that directed at people all the time.
Companions are atrocious. My cleric occasionally heals and yes, walks right into AE from boss mobs constantly. dog/skeletal attacks here and there completely at random, usually sits the fights out jagged blade does absolutely NOTHING! sits back entire fight and only comes near me after all mobs are dead Pheora see dog…
100% scam from someone. You need to clean your PC ASAP and do not enter any important passwords to sites you may use, I.e banks. Chances are high your PC is infected with tracking/keylogging malware.
hijack.. Want to talk about a rip-off, how about the Zen costs of bags and bank slots? Of course it wouldn't be so bad if Cryptic didn't do their best to fill your existing slots with oh lets see..3 slots of ID scrolls, 18 potions, 9x12 different enchant levels and types. The transparency of their blatant attempt to drive…
I am willing to bet that 95% of the people calling for "experienced only" or "12K+GS 4/4" etc. are DPS players who mash buttons and have little skill. They probably, for the most part, have no idea the actual skill it takes to be a good tank, healer or CCer in a group or raid. They have played with skilled players and find…
If Cryptic can re-define the word beta to suit their needs then how about I ask for a 1000$ "loan", only my definition of loan actually means "a grant" and do not have to pay it back. Is that ok? They cannot use a widely and generally accepted term and have it mean something else. Just for laughs.. Dictionary.com…
I envy whomever believes this is still in beta simply because Cryptic says so. They must be some of the lucky ones who have not been lied to or deceived by another software developer yet. Or should I say have not played a recent EA title.
This is not a beta, at least in the traditional sense. I have beta tested many software products from games to business titles. You generally have access to every aspect of the title, limited developer tools and a proper bug reporting tool. You also do not have to spend 1 cent to see everything the title has to offer. Tell…
THIS GAME IS NO LONGER BETA! Too much real money has been exchanged. Once the game is "for sale" as it is with Founder's Packs and the Zen store the term "beta" as it is defined no longer applies no matter what Cryptic wants to call it. There needs to be another term to use for this game in the state it is currently in.…
Oh for the love of God stop saying "it's beta derp derp expect a wipe". They are not going to Wipe!! Too much real money has been exchanged and it is no longer beta regardless of what they say.
The devs can track who exploited, ban them and do what they can to repair some of the damage. And like a previous poster mentioned, the economy will right itself relatively soon once these exploits are fixed.
The OP's post is just a shining example of how P2win this game really is. The only really bad thing about it is that "play style" only serves to give developers more incentive to make everything in a game cost real $$. I think the microtransaction models is garbage personally (see nightmare lockboxes for ripoff definition)…
