I didn't know the were different depths on the color, haven't noticed it. I usually just look at who casts the spells, and from experience I know how bad it is. I don't know what else to say really. Just that reds that do dot dmg or just straight up dmg are less bad than those that knock you up or down, or hold you in…
I don't drop the % heal feat. This is what my build looks like, and I'm glad if I can get som pointers and tips. The only thing I would change now is to change the points from healing action to toughness, the AP gain is huge anyways.
First, I have a hard time believing people have the time dotting up every mob in tough fights. Second, what do you use DP for except astral + occasional forgemaster? I have no trouble getting up my DP for just those two. Scattering stuff with sunburst doesn't seem very smart in most cases. But that is just me, maybe I'm…
This. Keep your stamina high for those moments you really need it, don't twitch shift out of red circles as soon as you see one. Also, very important IMO, keep moving as much as you can while fighting bosses, you will both avoid the red circles as they appear and you make the mobs stutter after you, they hit once, move,…
I'm just wondering why people don't run with the Deepstone Blessing which adds 10% more healing when people have temporary hit points. My at-wills are sacred flame and astral seal and I have no problems getting of the temp hit points on people. I see most people take invigorated healing for the 2.5% heal. That gives 2,5%…
Good to hear daunting light still is good. How are you handeling tougher mobs? Do you really need to run astral shield? I'd like not to because that would take away from my damage. And I'm also afraid of people not accepting me into groups because I run dps instead of the usual astral shield spam, killing ads in dungeons…
This. And I even use 3 dmg encounter as I go for a dps cleric. Sunburst, Daunting and Blazing Chains soloing, and Searing Light in dungeons/skirmishes. I have man-at-arms as companion. My normal "rotation" would be, blazing chains->daunting->attack toughest guy so my companion tanks him->if they aren't dead(95% of the time…
I think you can build a quite good dps cleric. I'm level 38 now on mine and I've always been top 2 in dps in skirmishes/dungeons. If there are lots of adds, not just single targeting I'm most of the time top1 because of all the aoe a cleric can dish out. Only stat I care about atm is recovery, but you get diminishing…
I just made it with my cleric. I was 31 when I did it with a pug. My team was pretty good I think it was a bit easier than most of the people write here. It's probably your groups fault not killing adds, our group did as soon as they popped pretty much. Thing to note is that I don't play a healing build, I'm dps and we…
I just hit lvl 31 and did mad dragon with a pug. I think we were 1 tr, me(cleric), 1 wiz, 2 gf. I'm pure dps, I don't have a single healing spell except sunburst which is neglieble and astral seal. We made it through first time no problem, not even one dropped and I got second most damage(and I might say the people I…
