I don't think the ticket time would be so bad if it at least gave you auto updates to show your ticket still exists so you don't feel compelled to send a new one, which I might. As it stands you send them an email and quickly get a autoresponse and than nothing for an overly long time if you get a response at all.
The problem is they only answer questions that they can resolve, if you ask them what their favourite colour is they don't need permision to answer and there probaly won't be a fallout for their answer. If they say for instance your ticket will be answered by tommorow they would get all kinds of fallout.
The email change system is beyond broken, if you do not control the accounts email you should not be able to change it without putting in a ticket to confirm your information. If you do control the email than it should be just a matter of confirming the change on the old and the new email address.
I hate to be a broken record but I submitted my ticket 05/17/2013 11:43 AM and got the auto response to the correct email and still have not gotten any response.
they said a "complete" wipe is off the table, this is not what the OP is suggesting he is suggesting a currency and item wipe with a reimbursment of purchased zen and gifted AD.
If they do wipe out gear they should give us 1 token per item slot and put in a vendor so we could get some green gear with the stats we want to replace our old gear. The only ones who would be really hurt by having items taken away even if they refund zen spent are people who got lucky with lockboxes.
Why bother with the wipe, the ones you want to punish are the exploiters and they have already cashed out. The gear that flooded the market is already bought, and the gold selling sites are going to keep spamming zone chat and and ingame mail. A wipe just punishes people who worked hard to get what they have and will scare…
Customer support sucks Ive been waiting for days to hear back from them about my account, still nothing. And now I suppose the ticket system is getting flooded with all the I got banned tickets who knows how long its going to take to get a response.
Also they took so long to reveal the stealing of the user information, who is to say it did not happen again and by their record we will not find out for 16 months. I recommend everyone change their passwords to something unique to this game. Even than though it makes you question whether its worth spending money in a game…
While I appreciate they are being swamped with tickets, it is little consolation to those of us who are hacked waiting to get our accounts back. I think it would be better if we could get automated responses that gave us a relative ETA, like where we are in line or something.
If i lose my character in NW maybe I could level a new one but why would I? Losing my STO stuff would be just game over. With the fact they want us to give them money for a game where you could lose everything at anytime seems like a waste of money.
I spent a few bucks on keys in NW, but I spent alot in STO, getting hacked in one game destroying your account across multiple games is a huge mistake.
Great, so sounds like when we do get our accounts back we than have to go through the process of trying to get unbanned and than we may have to go through the process of getting our stuff back. And yet the person who is doing this is just jumping from account to account getting paid.
