  • ^^ Hahah, nope, you've edited it again.
  • In the 5 minutes it took me to find the link you stealth edited your post to cover up your laughable claim. Better go back through every thread you've posted in and change those too it might fool people into thinking you have half a brain.
  • http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?266921-FAQ-AD-AH-Exploit-Follow-Up&p=3479161&viewfull=1#post3479161 "Q: This bug existed for more than 7 hours. What are you doing about the fact that players took advantage of this before the rollback window? A: We are performing additional log searches and investigations to…
  • PWE have said themselves that it happened. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the people doing it did not publicly admit so until their game was rumbled because they are not ****ing stupid.
  • And people who don't know the basic facts of what happened continue to offer their opinions. Hilarious.
  • It boggles my mind that people decide to comment on this issue when they obviously haven't got the faintest clue what the hell they're on about.
  • "Exploits that were performed prior to our rollback window make up a fraction of a percent of total impact" Many, many people were selling [Cat]s for 1 gold in the hours when everybody knew about the problem but you neglected to take the servers down. A fraction of a percent of how much are we talking about here? I suspect…
  • "Early Sunday morning a very small group of players discovered and abused a game exploit" That's simply not true. I hope that's not how you understand the situation.
  • I know you're tired but please try to keep your sarcasm in check and respect The Plan. The Plan took 10-odd hours to come up with. The Plan consists of a single idea and gives no information whatsoever All hail The Plan.
  • People could use the "gateway" website to access the auction house and place bids while outside the game client. There they could place bid for negative amounts of Astral Diamonds. When the auction ended their bid was turned positive and added to their wallet. This infinite money destroyed the game's economy.
  • The matter of fact is they stated they weren't considering a roll-back, then stealth edited the post to say the opposite, then completely removed any reference to a roll-back in the post. Unless the company CEO is on Twitter duty this evening I'd take it with a pinch of salt.
  • The plan was to have a functioning economy and that went AOT. Merge the 3 necrotising shards into one for anyone who can't let go of their pixels and create a fresh one with a separate economy for the less nostalgic.
  • Set up a brand-new shard with a separate economy that starts from scratch. Offer people who paid cash a choice to switch to the new economy, get locked out of the old one, and get all their stuff returned. Fresh start for those who want it and anyone who wants to crawl around on a rotting corpse instead can also do so.
