You are welcome and feel free to contact me when you make new :) Yeah it's kinda difficult to solo this. I enjoyed your quest, but stopped right before second boss (I guess because I saw the room only for a sec) after these blaze-things. I simply couldn't put enough CC to them with my wizard. You don't have to refund me…
About music and sounds - they are there, but due to issues with them, game isn't playing any. It's not only my quest ;/ As you could see, part of Hideout was already devastated. Other rooms kept their look (Orcs didn't manage to ruin them yet xD). About exit door - weird, it should be behind the boss on the left. And it…
That would work, but it has one big flaw. As long there is no OR statement to objectives, you will not be able to do objective dialogues this way. They will have to be common for every choice.
Your handle is @drexorn? If yes, then I was able to find your quest with shortcode. Where are you from? Or more precisely, what keyboard (or language) settings you have? If other than english, try changing it to english, because only thing that comes to my head is wrong charset. Probably I'm wrong.
Time: 12 minutes Char: 21 Lv CW Rating: 3/5 Opinion: If this is your very first quest with Foundry - good job. I see you had an idea, you worked on it and put some effort.Anyway, there are some things I have to point: - Preset maps. They are getting boring. I see this orcish guild hall two to four times a day in Foundry.…
There are two types of NPC in Foundry. One is "Contact" and the other one is "Encounter". Contact NPCs cannot fight. They can only speak with you/stand still/have limited animations. Encounter NPCs can fight, can follow you, can fight with you or for you. You probably put Contact NPC - they will tremble in fear whenever…
I don't like german language. Sometimes I even hate it (especially when I hear it). Sorry, but I have right to not like something. Anyway, even I with all this hate to language itself, wouldn't want to get tired doing whole quest just to rate 1-star 'coz of language. And no, I'm not racist, I have nothing for german…
About disappearing mouse - drag items SLOWLY from library. That happens only if you quick-draw them. About respec - it already works. Only stats are 0... just publish quest with TEST in title and try with live character. About finding quest - why do you think shortcode exists? But yeah, it's not perfect and has many, many…
Teleports (technical name for portals) are always made from two entrances/exits. They works in both ways. While on map, press "2" button on your keyboard and you will see two (purple I think) squares connected to themselves. These are both entrances for one teleport. I don't quite understand what you mean. If you want…
Foundry is somehow connected to game server all the time. There is auto-save on server every few minutes. Above that - I don't know. I haven't seen devs explaining that.
simply put [NICKNAME] When you are typing NPC dialogue text you have two options right of it "Mission info" and "OOC". Its one tab. Other Tab provides PCs name.
[Post reserved for screenshots] I can't take screenshots of good quality with my current hardware. If you take some - please send me them :) I will try to make some on my friend's computer.
That's because "For Review" is only tab that displays more than only a handful of quests. It displays ALL quests for review.... that's why it needs rework, search engine and paging.
You can play from any place on the map, but always from first objective on that map. OR you can play from any objective, but there is no telling where will you spawn. One time you will spawn where last time you left, other time on beginning of the map. IMHO the best way is always playing entire map when testing objectives.
I know feeling. My longest quest making was like 30 hours and that's nothing compared to you. But don't panic. There is nearly no chance you lose your quest. Maybe some of the most recent changes if you did any while Foundry started to act weirdly today.
That can't work. There is no way to set objective to "obtain item". It's like I said in my post - objective must be "to do something that requires sandwich".
For now, "Author" can be only used to tweaking map details and checking dialogs/objectives. Encounters are simply "control-spaced" and need to be tested live. That s*cks :P My first quest I tested live was unfinished and got rating of 2 because someone wanted to review it despite big "TEST RUN" title....
It's on suggestion list. Anyway, you can kinda do it, but as a side story, not main with objectives... Your quest should be to do something with sandwich, not obtain it. Like "give sandwich to bartender" or "put sandwich on table". And then make two boxes (or other items) interactable and set them to drop sandwich. Box 1:…
I play mainly official content to level up. But still I want to play foundry lore quests for fun with my main character. You wanna discriminate me? Above that, for me (and I'm sure for other players too) Foundry is source of lore, stories, fun and joy. Not XP. I have played only one full-combat map (The Arena or so), but…
1) Encounters are stiff in numbers, you can't add/remove creeps to/from them 2) No bosses in Foundry atm 3) Customizing look of Encounter NPCs is exactly the same as customizing look of Contact NPCs
I'm starting your quest. If you could, please try my both quests (it's one story, 2/3 of campaign). Taking down Khelgar Hammerhead (NWS-DKVDSY4ZJ) @forien69 * NW-DGYDZ7EAL - Khelgar's Treasure Cave * NW-DTULANXJC - Khelgar's Hideout You can review them here or in my thread, as you prefer.
About box - there is no item-scaling :( I think I will make it appear right after killing that group, not after objective complete About orc not attacking - I will check. I tested for my rogue and every mob attacked. Maybe some pathfinding problems, I will place them different, maybe will help :) Why couldn't you do second…
