Yes it does count! All mails coming from the auction house count towards your allowed auctions! Remove those mails from your inbox and you'll be fine again! (Had the same issue!)

Check the other post, they are auto refined until you reach your daily limit. I think it should say so in chat...

Yes it is a level 20 skin. You actually might have to select it manually. Open your companion page. Select the dog. I had the same problem, make it idle and active again, then just pull the neck items on the slot that still seem to be locked and BAM... Item equipped.... Understood. I was under the assumption, you where trying to tell me that, in all trade skills only one task gives XP... I misunderstood... Still I think its weird, that in all other trade skills gathering resources grants XP and only alchemy is different... It feels inconsistent for my taste. That is why I reported it...
