Most people dont realize there's a difference, servers is just another name for shards. Nobody in this thread was thinking about reducing the amount of hardware used to run the game :)

I like it but it would be a little weird for everyone to have his own 'Crossroad Keep'... Maybe add it as a Guild feature? That would make more sense.

okkkayyyy, after multiple tries, it worked without prompting me to reenter the code, somehow. Andd I have my balance, sorta. The 15% bonus didnt even get applied the other 5$ :p Despite it feeling like dealing with a Chinese gold seller, I guess it worked out mostly okay in the end.

Thanks for the tip, I got the email and am trying to do just that (GAWD this thing is frustrating), but it wont work. I had a 15$ card - the first 10$ went through, but when I try to go for the other 5$ separately, it says "this card has already been redeemed" .... The user interface during the process is confusing too,…

Thanks... waiting on the activation code now. (...) Because obviously, the system must be under heavy load at 8am on Sunday, explaining why sending an email instantly is difficult :p

Dont mean to scare you haha, it'll probably seem not so bad once I figure it out ;) And its clearly easier if you just buy it from here. The game card bonus promo is obviously complicating things a bit.

The largest threat to what you're saying here are the high-end enchants. They are mandatory for competitiveness and not really attainable through free play. My suggestion would be to address that from two fronts; first by rising the rates of successful combines on them, and second, by lowering the costs to purshase them.…

Yeah this is one of the lamer cash grabs, though not nearly as offensive as the 160$ enchants thatll be required to PvP competitively.

I agree, high end PVP is going to be compromised utterly by unattainable high end essences. People willing to pay 640$ will simply dominate. Thats pretty much the definition of P2W. But I'm just going to ignore it, and enjoy the story leveling to 60 without paying for stuff at my own pace. In that sense, the game is…

The timing is certainly way less than ideal. I've used some of it to do research about the game. Alot of cool info on the Neverwinter sub-Reddit. Still early for me. I just hope it comes back up on time :)

I'm not expecting this to work at all haha, but if there's an incredibly generous soul who'd like to let me try this out, it'd be amazing! I've loved this franchise since 1992 and I can certainly wait to try it in it's latest incarnation, but I won't say no if someone wants to let me have an early look ;)

If I buy a 'Guardian of Neverwinter' package right now and d/l the client can I play right away? Or do I really need a Founders package to join THIS beta weekend? Thanks
