Well, that's the other problem, I do have a wizard, that has an orange orb, and a purple off hand, of the Vistani set. Of course, with a mod, I figure it's not worth it to level the off hand to orange because I should be getting the next set up, what ever it is. None of my other characters have close to orange for a weapon…
As far as the skills go, I do kind of like the change. I don't think we need to choose skill points, since there were only 4 skill points per skill and so many skills you can equip at a time. However, Too many of the feats focus on skills I do not want to use. Even worse are a handful of skills that rely on you using 2…
I find it hilarious that people are having issue with this. Here's the thing, the powers on cooldown, are encounter powers. Originally coined in 4e, they are meant to be used once per encounter. This being an MMO and not a tabletop, the cooldown mechanic. As it is now, I'm still using a cooldown about twice per power per…
Honestly, on that note, I'd be find with replacing/altering all the other charge up at wills, because charging up like that in a game as fast paced as this one feels out of place, even for some of the other very powerful charge ups.
Yeah, no, I don't want housing drops competing with the useful gear drops. If the boss drop table for gear and house decorations were separate, then that's something else. However, I am anti this, because resources used to create this could be going to create something better, something that a larger part of the community…
Honestly, I still miss some of the classic D&D spells that really were not part of the control wizard's spell list and, as such, we really need a war wizard/sorcerer to field some of these classic spells: Fireball Lightning bolt Stoneskin Burning hands shocking grasp Vampiric touch haste I'm happy we have magic missiles…

I did vote sorcerer, but would so much like to see a War Wizard. Sorcerer could fill that same niche, but maybe it could have classic wizard spells? We're missing some of the real classics, so Sorcerer could fill that out, but I'd still like to see war wizard.
In my orb, I have a lesser fire enchant, a rank 5 radiant, and in my armor, I have a rank 5 Savage. Also note, I have not spent 1 astral diamond on enchants, not even to pull out of an item I'm vendoring, so that question is kind of pointless.
I'm a free player and things aren't even close to bad if you're smart or dedicated. If you're impatient, well, you've picked the wrong genre entirely. And even new MMO's are catering to you.
Not at all exploitative. I needed to capital to raise those 16 character slots too. I'm not missing the big picture. If I want it free badly enough, it's available. That's my point. I wasn't even going to go with 16 either, I was actually going to stop at 10 character slots, but they had a sale on character slots a couple…
No, the daily grind to unlock areas and quests, is taken STRAIGHT from WoW, specifically, the fire area in cataclysm. At any rate, 300,000 astral diamonds to upgrade and 155,000 astral diamonds to unlock the new expac content is chump change, unless you don't have one clue on how to earn astral diamonds. FYI haven't spent…
And DDO is based directly on 3.5 with the Vatian magic system and 10-16 HP for fighters at level 1 based on stamina and toughness feat. Right. I do like this better than NW and DDO, I would just like to see this game get bigger, particularly on more class choices, espeically since they decided to split classes into…
Well, on that note, there are fundamental differences between 3.5 and 4th as well. Although weapon selection feels very limited, in 4th, weapon selection is very build dependant. Considering our classes are "control" wizard, "great weapon" fighter, and "trickster" rogue, it's obvious that your build is somewhat pre…
I believe the expansion potential for this game is huge. Although this game is released, It is far from finished. Not in that "it compiled, ship it" sort of way, but in such a way that it is obvious to anyone that options are on the horizon. Even most classes say, alternate paragon path coming soon. I anticipate that your…
