It's ironic that you're complaining about inability to read. You were warned when you used the website address, then you did it again, so you were banned. If only you'd read the warning... If you're nice (and they don't see this thread), CS may unban you. After you wait through their queue. BTW, discussion of bans isn't…
There's a really simple reason why there's no set date for Drow release to F2P (and no, "at least 60 days" isn't a set date.) It's because they're not going to release them until the sales of the Pack drop off.
Hardly. "I will pay money" actually means very little without the knowledge of how much money, how many people will pay, and how much it will cost to develop. Otherwise, I could just say "I will pay money to have the accounts of everyone who wants a race change deleted." And Cryptic should do that, right? After all, I WILL…
It's not that new. And you get a warning before it bans you. Anyway, I just tested what the OP alleges to have said, "Yeah you have to either spam chat to trade items for gold or rely on gold drops in the game" No ban. I'm guessing he did something he's not admitting to.
They've already done one round of adjustments, so that pretty much identified what PWE felt wasn't selling enough. Which is not to say that they're happy with the sales of the rest of the items, just that they're not concerned enough to lower them yet.
Oh yeah, that one :) Not a fan of the new DDO site either, guess no one is. What I was referring to is the LOTRO site, which has been using HTTP for login since last fall...
Nope, that wouldn't stop them. They'll just tell you to put an item up at a specific price, e.g. 1,001,337 AD. That's how they do it in games where the sellers are anonymous.
It's pretty clear what happened. The OP sent a chat line that had some goldseller keyword in it. He got an automated warning from the system, which he ignored. He then repeated his post, so the system autobanned him. Working as intended. And the lesson of the day is: read the warning messages, and stop doing things it…
If you don't have a guild, why not just create a 1-person guild? And as an extra bonus, you can get bank storage a lot cheaper than at the Zen store (for the first couple of pages, anyway.)
I wouldn't worry about it. If it stays true to MMO norms, it will take almost as much gold to make a potion with Alchemy as it does to buy it from a vendor.
No, City of Heroes didn't have this system, names were unique there. It's really a problem without a solution. If you do it this way, then some people are unhappy because their names aren't unique. You do it the old way, then some people are unhappy that they can't get the name they want.
