I just logged into the preview server for the first time in over a year. My VIP is still working. It says I have 39 days, 17 hours left. Not really sure how that works since I don't buy VIP on preview.

Is it just me?... or is Flabbergast's Foot Race bugged? We've got 3 people... being such good citizens sitting still waiting at the bleachers... and... nothing. Inevitably, one gets bored and wanders off, leaving the other two to wonder if that person had just sat still for another 5 minutes, would the event have started?

My tracert the other day ended in: 15 90 ms 90 ms 89 ms patchserver.crypticstudios.com [208.95.184.200] There were 3 different timeouts along the way (whatever that means).

I was able to get logged in using GeForce NOW. It's not quite the same experience as playing directly on the desktop, but at least I don't have to beg them for my Siegebreaker Griffon I've been working for the past 2 weeks. :)

oh rats... it just reset itself and started downloading again. :( This takes me back to when we used to wait 10 minutes to download an mp3 file from an ftp server over dialup. :)

I believe the program is remembering that I had one of the accidental boons that got removed with the last mod. Every character that got reset back then, also was reset again yesterday (even though they don't have that boon anymore). It's like it remembered that at one time I did have the boon, a reset me out of spite. :)

I have the exact same problem, Tigermary. I got my offhand for my cleric in the first few weeks after release (I got to the MEs later than most). Then, some patches went in, and I believe the odds were incredibly nerfed. It makes no sense to me, since you can't sell 'em. But I haven't seen a main hand or an off hand ever…

Yup... look here. The two items in my inventory that can transmute each other... I've worn both (you can tell because I dyed both) :)... so if this thread finds it's way to the devs, make all those new items Account Bound and Binds On Equip, and think this one solves itself.

But... now that you mention it, Greywynd... maybe that *is* the bug?... the fact that it's not binding to my character, but only my account. I would imagine their intention with that is so you could level up the gear on your alts... but having unintended side-effects with respect to transmutes. They should be: Bound…

So... good idea, Greywynd. Unfortunately, that is not it. Seen here, this is as close as it gets to "Bound To Character"... Notice that it is equipped. and to get really specific: the piece of gear I want to transmute is seen here on the right, bought with seals, the Wristguard of the Spy's Guild... I want to transmute it with the gear on the left, the Wristguard of the Red Feather Clan, which as you can see, has also been transmuted... going back a long time.
