I don't know about those feats really needing any work if you consider the destroyer is killing faster so they take less incoming damage and thus need to mitigate less. Overall the most defensive builds become the most powerful as a balancing mechanic that slow and steady wins out over fast and furious. When this point…
The best GWFs are the first into battle taking initial aggro and damage go unstoppable and give the rest of the party several seconds to join into the fray avoiding having multiple aggro targets. Unless an AoE from someone else is used or a heal from a cleric most targets aren't going to suddenly decide to attack other…
Award glory based on activity in a match, Heal 50k gain 50 glory, deal 50k damage gain 50 glory mitigate/absorb 100/150K damage gain 50 glory for example(figuring out how much of what for what I'm not even gonna try to figure out without having access to a data mine of a PvP match that was well matched showing damage/heals…
Its a pity they didn't take a cloud of steel approach for reaping strike give it a dozen charges and while holding down the button you'd swing constantly with each hit doing more than the last so firing off a full set would give a nice burst AoE /single target at will. As long as the charges were high enough with a decent…
I tried TR class didn't like its style but I can appreciate its dps and I find the idea of nerfing them to be a very bad choice rather than rebalancing other mechanics that would better address the issues people have with them.
I think threat is best left to a GF for keeping the attention of targets that have alot of hp or can't be CC'd so they don't overextend themelves and leave everything else to the GWF as a stopping break for all the other adds while/so the group can distribute workloads as a cleric shouldn't really need to heal a GWF if…
I've played a rogue, I don't play one atm or have one atm as I just didn't like its playstyle and I find the current nerf downright offensive to the class. TR were made for killing CW DC and other TR while they were vulnerable to GF and GWF(at least not when perma stealth and being good at it/avoiding getting caught). They…
I'm not going to say this game is Pay to Win but it can very easily be considered in such depending on your viewpoint. Consider this example a poor farmer gets into a fight with a rich noble, a duel is declared. The poor farmer has a week to do what he can which being a poor farmer is simply to farm as quickly as possible.…
I like the option of fusing additional runes/enchants for more success ie fusing 4 has a 50% chance but fusing 5 would give you a 60%. But since I'm not about to push for any changes I'll just say I hate stuff that fails frequently enough to get my attention.
I can believe it, I'd rather have the ability to choose my stats than just keep clicking a roll button that only has pre defined sets. A point buy with starting 8s since it gives you +2 to all of your stats by the time you get to 60 would be very nice.
Dang internet company HAMSTER with me something fierce not giving me the services I spoke about and now I'm stuck at a 756k connection til next Friday. Ok, now I'm done ranting.
PvP has rewards that atm don't apply to working together as long as you win. And if a party isn't Roflstomp more powerful that all the individual members of your not quite team against the other side they in ever increasing numbers just /leave and hope to join a new not quite team of rolfmstompers.
Actually I was try to be obvious about the fact that a GWF skill animations are obvious and slow Unless your sprinting into melee range of a CW they can keep their distance fairly well and repel and shield push you away and if they do you just have to repel them abit sooner. They have enough evasion and repel ability that…
Along with nerfing base stealth duration by 25-30% and dodge stamina meters to 70% of current so they have to wait between dodges on rogues. The only cheese I see is the people having it with their whine. Unstoppable has a nice big weakness its just not something every other class can exploit just like a CW can easily CC…
A point system is fine with me I just figured folks would like an option to choose their stats for a custom build that may be different than what the class is typically expected to have.
Somehow that statement alluded me earlier but now that I reread it, I find it tickles me something fierce. Though now I just picture them with thick glasses and a book strapped to their side with the print "How to swing a blade"
I'm digging the part where they infer an unstoppable heals when it doesn't unless you take the feats for it, I'm also digging the part where it needs a cool down that means every other classes dodges would need cool downs and GF can only block every other hit orso so all classes have open to fire CC failmunities. My time…
I dunno if I agree with that, but the tene enchants definitely throw it out of whack the class tree itself without tene is fairly balanced. I have to wonder when they made the trees if they had enchants in mind.
If I'm in PvP with a CW I like to use knight's Valor to shave off half the damage they take it helps me build my daily as I gain AP for all damage blocked or unblocked on my build. If the CW is able to CC for me I can slot better dmg encounters instead of weaker stuff like fronstline surge and not having to worry about…
GWF is a melee AoE class being in melee range doing AoE getting hit lots and nerfing their defense...I just don't see it working out. If your speaking for PvP and unstoppable that just requires some team play prone tactics.
If kicked and replaced with the leader's friend the friend wouldn't have earned any kills, damage taken, life healed ect and would have little to no points to get a reward. Though if the friend didn't need a reward I suppose it would still suck. Though if you earned these points and they carried over to new dungeon runs…
I see your post and when I think of clicking the completion button I see in my head FINISH IT. Though with the finish him buttons its probably not much of a surprise.
That would definitely be interesting but would take so much choice out of the players hands I doubt more than a small minority would ever play it that way.
Soon as they reward based on dungeon performance like in PvP such as damage taken, life healed, damage dealt, kill count, and award points or tokens that are used at a merchant at the end and/or start of a dungeon and bosses are just worth a portion of the total values. So if you get kicked in the middle you can just join…
As long as when they get there the classes aren't all clones of each other which seems to happen where they make the classes more and more alike because of some PvP element where they try to balance apples to oranges.
