Enjoyed this event. Took commitment to get enough dice to get the companion, but it wasn't impossible. The randomness was welcome too. Wasn't the same enemy in the same dungeon every time. And I liked being able to collect a few Challenge of the Gods.
I agree, a lot could be done to help people group up. I've asked for help on things, and rarely do people answer the call. The most effective technique I've found is to stand in front of the encounter or instance and to try and join with anyone approaching. Usually a huge waste of time.
I'm not sure I understand people's complaint. If you hit a target once, you get credit for the kill, don't you? Whether you land the killing blow or not. I suppose it'd be lame if someone comes in, hits the target once, and then leaves to let you finish it off, but that doesn't seem to be what people are complaining about.
I was running around last night, and would estimate it'd take me about three-four hours to collect enough charms, and to turn those charms into tokens to buy a single mask. That's a really good idea. The only thing I've really spent my money on was a horse. Since there is nothing I need; I'd be willing to spend money on decorations or enhancements that don't add any value but make things look cooler. A flaming sword enhancement, for example, or a transparent helmet.
#2 Could you make it so all skirmish levels are repeatable like you have with the dungeons, but you could create a level scheme like pvp (example after lvl 21- 36 it will go to 37 -43).
