While I would love to have my Greycloak weapon you can still play him, Pally is so OP right now he rolls right through stuff just like if you're using a Greycloak on the other classes. Don't wait to long waiting on Greycloak b/c I know pally damage will get "nerfed" as there's no way it should be this powerful.
I also don't understand how the mark system made it in game as it is. How can you play test that for any amount of time and not come to the conclusion that that is a horrible way to implement it?
Seems to me you are just spouting some stuff b/c if you actually tried to put that into effect you'd know that is not an effective stategy. The mark from that rush skill lasts for a second, maybe 2 and you will not threat any gen over heals and dps with it. Also the range of it is very short so you're not going to be leap…
I would have less issue with the GWF's lower damage output if he had better mitigation. I've played all the classes now to some extent and while playing the GWF I take so much more damage than playing any other class. On all the other classes I was almost level 20 before I ever really needed to use a potion. Playing as a…
I stopped using my cleric, when I got to 30+ she started to just be more trouble to try and keep a live. It wouldn't be so bad if guardian threat wasn't so terrible but the way threat is in this game a few seconds after you taunt they just run right back to beating the healer. Since she's only rank 15 she's down in seconds…
Well from what the D&D veterans tell me this is working as intended. I actually had this exact same experience in this very same skirmish map (as well as other places) and when I griped about it what I was told is that in the D&D rules there is really no such thing as a tank, at least not in the sense that we're used to…
I don't really care I don't have much control over the stats but I would like it if they just made it automatic and removed that feature entirely. I just hit level 30 upon which I received 6 stat points to place but since there are only 6 stat pools and you can't place more than 1 point in any given stat basically all it…
My main problem with TR is in PvP and that damned silence ability they have. I don't play TR so I don't know what it's called but it's like a 5 second silence maybe where you can't cast or dodge which is basically a death sentence.
I would say the surprising thing is that any of that surprise you. I can't really think of any recent MMO's where there wasn't always a vocal group hating on the game for some reason. Simple fact of life is you can't please everyone and in this particular industry the people you can't please are always very vocal about it.…
I see it as a good thing, limits farmers selling it. Keeps the game economy under better control if you don't have ultra rich people paying stupid prices for everything. One thing no MMO seems to ever get right is game economy, I mean it's generally the fault of players but it always comes to pass that prices just rise to…
Because not everyone likes to play the same way, just b/c you don't like to zerg to max level doesn't mean other people don't want to. Having them allows both sides to have it the way they want w/o either side losing anything, if you don't see that as an upside then you have flawed logic.
Unless they have changed it, companions have quality assigned to them, the free ones you get at lvl 16 cannot reach as high of a level as the ones you buy from the store. That may change, you may get better free ones later but initially that is the big difference.
I wouldn't so much say they're ugly but just stupid looking and I don't see how they thought adding these masks was some kind of "cool" thing to add to any of the packs. Just by the way it looks, assuming the in-game item looks like the picture I already know I will never wear that thing unless it gives you some great…
Just out of curiosity why would it matter if the guild has an interest in PvP? I don't think I've ever been in a guild with any substantial number of players and every single player had no interest in PvP. I mean if you have a guild of 100 people and even 10 of them have an interest in PvP there's likely at some point to…
I think a lot of it is that right now the rogue is really the only dps class in the game. The great weapon fighter is not a pure dps class, sort of a support hybrid off-tank. The wizard, as the name implies is a control wizard so while they can do good dps they have some CC as well, then obviously the cleric and guardian…
If that's true that's kind of a silly design philosophy, when I roll a healer I basically expect to not need potions. Why would you make a healing class that can't out heal potions, sort of defeats the entire reason to roll a healer. Means you have all the weakness w/o one of the major strengths people expect from a healer.
Yeah I don't mind the cash shop but respec is one of those things I wish they wouldn't charge zen for. I wouldn't say I respec a lot but when you're learning a new game and testing things out the ability to respec is pretty important. I personally tend to play a lot of alt characters as well so 5 dollars to respec across 5…
Well I agree prices should be lowered some and I also agree that lower prices would probably entice a bit more people to buy but I think you're wrong when you say not many people will use the store with the prices as they are. Will less people use the store, sure most likely but most people that are even willing to spend…
Well just by the fact they do provide some support you would obviously be gimping yourself by not using them. As that's extra heals or damage you won't have but they're not so integral that you can't get along w/o them or anything.
biggest ones you mentioned for me are the account bank, that should really be standard in any new MMO by now. Being able to log out to the character select screen; I always play multiple characters so not having this just gets very annoying very fast, even in the beta it got on my nerves and that was just 3 days. Adding a…
