I'll check the Foundry forum every great once in awhile, to see if any new stuff has come up for it. Don't really play regularly anymore, though. Been busy with a lot of R/L stuff, and been playing other games.
This might help the "what RPGs are being talked about the most, currently" discussion: http://www.enworld.org/forum/hotgames.php Again, currently. Not "of all time." The only part that really feels "4e" to me are the caster attack at-will cantrips. Everything else feels like a mix of mostly 2e, with some 3e thrown on top…
Nice! Wasn't getting any sound in table_topping for some reason, though, so I opened up Zovya's. Wasn't aware of this early enough, but I'll watch/listen in on Thursdays to get my D&D fix. :p
An orc companion would make me so very happy. Mostly for nostalgia reasons, as one of my characters in this game is based on a PC I made with an orc partner. I'm pretty happy with this new event. I've been getting a bit bored with the last skirmish, as much as I love beholders and any opportunity to fight them.
I try to get the following or some variation if I can: Neutral Good default/I just press 1 for everything response Lawful Good/Honorable/Knightly response Neutral mercenary/Just doing this for money response Chaotic/I am pretty much Belkar from OotS response Quest/NPC/Item/Faction/Class specific response. I wouldn't worry…
Good luck to the folks doing this. Looking forward to playing some of these this week! :D Didn't like how mine was panning out, in terms of how it fit with the Tower District, so revamping it as something else not related.
It'd be cool to see that stuff, but I'm hoping they get more of the base D&D stuff/FR specific stuff out first. The Genasi race/subtypes, the Swordmage class, the Dragonborn race, Rangers, Paladins, etc.
I'm very excited about it. I'm just curious how exactly lists will be formed from what you choose. Will there still be quests that won't be visible (just one page worth of quests like it is currently), or will there be several pages to search through according to the categories chosen? Like I said, too early to tell. Can't…
Well, with the current state of Foundry quest searching, it means that people are aware that your quest even exists. The new search functionality looks like it might be a good start on fixing this problem. Too early to tell, but I'm hoping.
When I think "RP" in terms of Foundry quests, I think "lots of dialogue options/choice" for you to choose to play out your character. I know people make locations to actually type out "roleplay", but I don't think that's what most people are thinking of. I could be wrong, though.
Well huh, TIL. Pretty cool tidbit. As a side note, I don't mind cliche when it's presented well. I just recently played someone's quest about a vampire that is holding a beauty against her will. Even has the manor at the top of a steep hill and the sort of "black/red" color scheme to his look. It had all the feelings of a…
Role-playing. I'm not sure if I mean it in the same way that you or others do. I don't mean a map for the sole purpose of typing out roleplay interactions. I mean dialogue with multiple selections, so I can at least come close to how I'd like my character to react. I'm not a big fan of "you only have one way to respond,"…
I do feel a bit burned by this. I think you guys are better than to mislead the playerbase, whether intentional or not, especially ones who want to support you guys. If people are getting the wrong idea with how you're presenting your products, you really need to change how you market these things in the future, so we know…
Very nice, congrats! For people who care about lore, the Moonstars were created as an offshoot of the Harpers, after Khelben got frustrated after realizing that he didn't hold as much sway with the organization as he thought he did.
The "Unique Items Now Available" blurb feels really misleading, since you won't actually have access to those unique items until August 22 (except on a preview shard). I wish it was worded differently. The items seem good, but it should really say upfront that you will be able to claim items on a future date, instead of…
