No Beta has ever encouraged people to exploit a game. They have asked people to report bugs as they see them and to essentially play the game. Open Beta (soft launch is the industry jargon) is effectively a live game so they are monetizing it and ensuring they have cash flow for future development.
Except they close your account entirely... so if that's a win? Ok! Their CS has to be slammed right now. It's going to take them some time to get through all this.

There were one or two valid points in the OP's post. The communication about a server downtime should have been done and there should have been an acknowledgement of the issue. The level of detail being requested screams more than a bit of entitlement. You don't need to know exactly what they are doing about the problem.…
