I told them when I was playing on preview before launch, the same thing. Ok, they switched up new gear and lvl cap to 80....ok good something to work for. They changed companions and how they work, sweet. The added content was ok and interesting with ok dialog. All those I expected and didn't really bother me, even the…
I am speaking only from my own perspective as a gamer. Having played many mmos, it just feels like all the changes from mod 16 weren't made to enhance the game but to simplify it to free up resources for other projects. The content added was ok, but its the changes to the core of the game that really threw red flags right…
You see it too. The combat system was the biggest turnoff for me as well. Scaling is obviously off the rails crazy and needs fixing. Its the combat system.....the core aspect of how you interact with the game (90% of gametime for me) is what really drove me off. It will be the same after the scaling debacle and after many…
This is really what I find amusing. With all the crazy going on with this mod we have complaints about coupons? really? What about trying to fight for the core aspect of the game itself like the boring combat & broken scaling to keep players from getting rad cap?
The thing about it is scaling was broken when mod 16 was first introduced on preview. Several posts, from the beginning, pointed this out with nothing done. Then on top of that, suggestions were mentioned to address many issues with the combat system. They took suggestions and went the opposite direction with some, others…
I was playing on preview and live quite a bit weeks ago. However, after witnessing patches to preview that brought the game in the opposite direction of player feedback I had to take a step back. Atm, I would rather wait and watch to see what happens at this point than invest my time & money.
I agree with the idea of the new mod. However, the more I play on test the more I find myself thinking that the release date needs to get pushed far far back to address many things being implemented. Its hard to "test" abilities or broken powers that do not show reality in the tooltip & charactersheet. I play a cleric and…
Ok, and there may or may not have been a lot of changes since you played your warlock? Perhaps do an overall dps comparison after the next patch with both characters at lvl 80 with the same environment (variables). When preview first introduced mod 16 it was tough for everyone. So comparing said characters at different…
I've been on test last night and earlier this morning. The new system is very different, or worlds different then whats going on now on live. This is the early stages for mod 16 on preview and changes will be made. For those that are thinking about abandoning nwo, stick it out and at least see what gets launched when it…
Even the boons aren't all that great. That aside, this is the biggest grind campaign in the game. Like the area, like the design and background, but its way too much time to attain completion. Not sure completion token is even worth it either.
I voted "other". I'm sure this may have been mentioned in the 26 pages of this thread, but would like multi-classing. This is wishful thinking on my part and probably impossible from the game engine, however, you asked for my vote and there it is. Thats not exactly a new class but would offer much more character…
Now that I think about it...…...you guys are right. You bring Soth in the picture, you then bring the rest of Krynn and the Hooplah of a completely different campaign setting with its history. Azalin, and his constant plotting to kill Strahd would be more realistic. I do like the idea of Ravenloft addition to the game.…
Thank you for the detailed response Zebular. I'm sticking with the PC as I just upgraded to an MSI gaming laptop. I will give my son my old one. I just cant get into gaming on anything other than PC. Its a one stop shop and optimized with everything. Oh well. Thanks again!!!!
