I keep sticking with Cryptic thinking one day they might replicate City of Heroes again. Alas, I'm starting to lose hope. Sad how they went from that to this.
Mindflayer here too. Anyone who's saying the game population is the same either has his head buried under a rock or is being intentionally deceitful. I've logged in several times after everything was said and done and all it took was hitting "O" to see that things were not well. My friend list has never been more empty.…
I have never played WoW so I went by what I've heard. I heard it had stability issues, but never heard about widespread exploits, at least not to this magnitude. With that said, the MMO community was different beast 10 years ago. In this day and age you can't afford to **** up this bad.
Never played EQ1 so I couldn't tell you. WoW's had stability issues which are a different beast (and even then still haunts it to this day). D3 is indeed more inline with the what we're seeing in NW, and trust me you don't want people comparing you to D3's release. The had good retail sells because it was the sequel to D1…
While I can think of games that launched with more stability issues, I can't think of any game with more widespread game-breaking exploits. D3 comes close, but not quite.
