Yes, the keyboard language thing worked for me too -- eventually. If you do this, make sure you choose English (United States), and not English UK (US). It's a totally different keyboard language subset.
I'm with you -- I've done a bunch of T1s since reaching 60 recently, and had 1 thing drop, which I didn't need, since I'd already bought something from the AH. With AH prices so low, you should be almost able to get a full T1 set for <100k.
You've just replied to a necro'd thread from pre-patch, where the set bonus was scheduled to be fixed. By your comments, I'm assuming the Devs have done their job right this time...?
I don't think you can reliably use the current botting situation as a fair reflection of the current state of a cleric's survivability. And even if you were up against 2 rogues, how exactly are you going to kill either of them before they chain stun you and double back-stab you?
Given how the Devs addressed the issue related to Guardians' shield raise, I wouldn't be surprised if they will look negatively at this gimmick of fooling the system into thinking your 'using' (read consuming) Divine Power while casting a skill, but then quickly reversing it so you don't actually 'use' any Divine Power. I…
I'm kinda with the other guy on this. It just sounds like a complete gimmick -- too much so to be genuine. If you're not consuming any Divine to 'power up' this, then it's got to be flawed.
I personally don't regard myself as an exceptionally talented healer-type player -- very experienced & capable sure, but not as elitist in my own assessment as someone like pw3cka above. Don't get me wrong: I did vanquish the Mad Dragon once, and the sense of achievement was huge. But 1 from 6-7 attempts isn't a great…
Kudos wudwaen -- but you are totally barking up the wrong tree. As a few people have already mentioned in this thread (whom you have casually ignored), this isn't just an MMO translation of the paper & pencil version of any particular edition of D&D. It's independent from, but thematically based on, the material that was…
There are lots -- I've reported a few, but the process is very cumbersome, since the account names are usually random letters, e.g. @asdrasdfa1271. CSR's always acknowledge the report, but who knows if anything's actually done about it. Invariably, they are rogues -- and rogues who don't use stealth. I always kick them if…
I imagine with your level, you're just doing the story mode version of the Lair of the Mad Dragon dungeon? I recall that baptism of fire particularly well, since I would say it's the first real challenging test for serious group content for PuGs through the Group Finder. I have only managed to complete it once in maybe 6…
I'm usually a critic of these types of guides, but I've got to say that I actually really enjoyed reading this one. The tone was informative while not being patronising, and was extremely helpful. I've not yet hit 60, and was worried that the cost associated with re-specs meant that I didn't really know how effective my…
