• yep, the other option is to just leave. I'll stick for a bit to see if PWE get their **** together, but its not looking hopeful.
• yeah, its pathetic. Not only is it a load of HAMSTER, that I woudl consider insulting if the rollback was 7mins let alone 7hours or more (and does not fix the wider issues anyway), but even the XP boosts, despite beign account bound, cannot be sent to alts...
• Pretty damm pathetic to be honest. Totally worthless. SHould have been a token to grant 7 celestial coins to make up for the ones we lost. A couple of keys and better XP boosts to make up for lost time. This is so pathetic is practially an insult. Cant even send the Xp booster to alts.....despite it being account…
• They taking the HAMSTER? I lost 6 tokens and quite a few AD not to mention serveral hours levelling time, professions and so on. and they give me this useless piece of HAMSTER? Thats not compensation thats bloody insulting.
• If they dont give me a refund I will then decide whether to take action. I have stated my case and will look at their response, If I find it inadequate I will then have to decide whether to pursue it or not. I've done that before and in both cases the company has backed down. Actually EULAs are worthless, as has been…
• I never said anythign about a charge back, I requested a refund as I believe UK and EU consumer protection legislation covering sale of goods and distance selling regulations entitle me to. Also, dont put your faith in EULAs, they are there to scare you into not trying to enforce your rights. they have zero weight when…
• I'm from Dragon, and not playing right now until I have resolved issues with PWE and their recent actions. Maybe others are annoyed. I'd not be suprrised if the recent issues have adversely impacted player populations across the board.
• EULA are not worth anything. At least not in the EU. They cannot trump national or EU law, and you cannot sign away statutory rights no matter what you agree to.
• Thank you. In the first instance I always try to resolve issues with the company directly and to that end I have lodged a ticket with PWE stating my grievance, how I believe it impact on my statutory rights under the relevant legislation, and requested a full refund. I will give them a reasonable time to respond, usually 5…
• I've done it with other companies, and because I know my legal rights in my country, I've always got a refund in situations like this. It depends onwhat country you are in, and what your consumer rights are like.
• Its not fraud at all. And where do you draw the line between roll back and wipe? Seriously. Where? A 7hour wipe is a rollback. What about a 7day wipe, is that still a roll back What about a rollback to 1 min after beta started? its not wiped, its just rolled back..... Its semantics, we have had a partial wipe. They could…
• instead of a wipe (which I would support) Give players an option to forfeit all their existing characters and stuff, to have their zen refunded and to start from scratch on a new server where only new characters can be rolled. That way players who play legitimately can get away from the ****ed up economy resulting from…
• Ok lets just roll it back to start of beta then! We have already had a partial wipe, now we are just arguing over sematics.
• It may be suicide not to the way things are going.
• Full wipe. All zen returned to original buyer. All characters, items and all other character related things deleted. Foundry quests retained. At least then we could treat this as a proper beta, and have certainty.
• Its not so much the ingame items and stuff, its confidence you have lost. Now everyone has the thought at the back of their mind that any legitimately earned progress can be negated by a few people abusing an exploit. You would be better off just saying that a wipe would happen at a certain date when the game actually…
• I'm increasingly comming round to the idea of a total reset. Wipe all characters and all items. Give people back any zen they spent. Start over. At least with proper launches and character resets at end of beta you know what you are getting. This bull**** of "no wipes",....but oh wait we ****ed up, so we will have "roll…
• not sure, comming very close. I dont like the approach of penalising people who play legitimately becuase of a few who exploit. Also, really object to rollbacks when people have traded what amounts to real money legitimately. Esp for things like lockboxes... Now I'm just thinking, is it worth even bothering, what happens…
• yeah, what the ****s the point of playing now, when they can just roll back all my legitimate work because some other ****** exploited? Cant be bothered playing if they pull this HAMSTER.
• Mine were not at 0. they were at 4. They should have been at 4 before the roll back and should stil be at 4 (should reset soon if not renewed). However now they are at 0. Feeling a bit pissed right now.
• as a min it should be free boosts, bags a mount, bank slot. thats the least they can do for a **** up on this scale. personally I'd say they shoudl give everyone a hefty chunk of zen but thats just me.
• as ADs are effectively a currency, and have a real world equivalent value, how can the devs delete legitimately earned ADs with no come back? surely thats effectively theft and fraud?
• no, its a "soft launch". And when they allowed real money transactions they took it above beta. They entered into an agreement with the users that their systems were secure and could handle it. Even if game mechanics are still being tweaked, the money system should be 100% secure. It was not, thats a massive failure on teh…
• losing? not that much I suppose as I only started playing a few days ago. But they are in danger of losing at leaast one customer. I really cannot condone rollbacks on this scale in a game that includes real money transactions (albeit through an ingame medium). The onus should be on the devs to target exploiters, not do…
• This is totally unacceptable. Roll backs in games due to issues like this is totally and completely wrong. You as developers messed up, you released a game in beta, and allowed real money purchases in order to get money in, and it was not ready, now players who spent money on the game legitimately will suffer. The onus…
